So I ended up buying most of the cables but I didn't buy the headunit I said I would. I'm actually deciding between the AVH-4000NEX and the AVH-x8500bhs since they are similar in prices now. Will these cables still work for these headunits? And do you have any opinion if you were to choose between these headunits? I like pioneers app radio and also like that the 4000nex will have the apple carplay this summer (hopefully) and I have apple products to sync with it.

If you tick with pioneer then the plug and play would be the only thing you need to change depending on the radio.

Question. I know you recommended the SRWH-AUD2-HILO, but what is the difference between the SRWH-AUD2-HILO and the SRWH-AUD2-B. I was watching your install guide here so it got me a little confused. Just trying to understand it all before I fubar something up.

Audi radios put out probably somewhere between 10-12V to the amp. Most aftermarket radios are 2-4 Volts. Without the HILO the sound is low on the rear of all A4's and also low on the front of Bose equipped cars.

4. Maybe you can help narrow if down, my main focus is to have gps, bluetooth, 5.8-7" atleast, and multiple USB ports if possible.

I also own a 2004 A6, symphony II I think, with steering controls, and I see pioneer is the way to go from your video on YouTube. But I want a bigger screen, preferably 7" with gps and Sirius.

For the C6 I have options to add but not replace, But that's not what this thread is about.

For the C5 If you want to call I can figure out what you need but that would take some back and forthe so maybe email or call is better.

4. Kenwood DNX890HD (already purchased)
5. Currently using XM radio but may cancel service after install but would like to keep the option open for future use

I will also be upgrading the sub woofer and front speakers which will be powered by a new 3 channel amp so the stock sub and amp will be eliminated. Rear door speakers will be powered by the new Kenwood head unit. I have purchased a PAC C2R unit but after further review I do not beleive it is required for my install.

I would take out the factory sub so that the new sub can enter the cabin better. The SRWH-AUD3-B will run the rear speakers off the factory amp but the SRWH-AUD3-HILO will make them sound better.
