I've got a parking sensor that's misaligned but is very likely a mistake on my part, gonna pop it out and back in. Not the end of the world though. Night vision camera fits fine, I don't have front parking camera.

Did some maintenance I should have done a few months ago when I went stage 2.

I had a small oil leak on the back of the engine that looked like the oil filter housing / seal and what was a small, turned nasty, coolant leak on the front that looked like it was the crossover pipe. 034 logs also showed HPFP struggling to keep up above 6500 RPM

Had a lot of "while I'm in here"..
    034 HPFP piston
    TGK HPFP seal and tappet
    Oil filter housing & seal
    Crossover pipe
    Thermostat
Water pump (surprised how good the plastic impeller looked @ 109k miles)
    PCV
    Intercooler bricks

I went with a Febi oil filter housing and the filter it came with was a bit shorter than a normal hengst filter. This resulted in a low oil pressure warning and code P164D. It took a while to diagnose it back to the filter. I'm just glad I didn't have to take the housing back off to fix it...

Fixed my ACC error by pressing gently on the driver side sensor and "pooping" it back into place.

Fixed the volume control knob in the center console! There was a lot of syrupy gunk under and around it, most likely a spilt Coke. I accidentally bought an air cleaner for the job, and sprayed (what I assume to be) liquid nitrogen all over it causing a lot of freezing and condensation. Finally got a proper alcohol based cleaner and sprayed it all over. Now it works after probably 6 years of fritzing but now my car smells like the cleaner. The prices we pay for peace of mind.

nice dude, all you gotta do it take the button off and spray a bit of WD40, let it sit for like 10-15min, and then insert the knob back and start twisting it around to get it working through all the creases :)

Updated the software on the BTres unit. Hadn't done in years it appears (2nd owner here). Travis is a true gentlemen (like many of you already know), as the brains had to sent to him to receive the update.
Unfortunately/Fortunately the added features have alerted me to a under fueling issue w/LPFP under WOT, so I get to chase this down now. Car has duel LPFPs, but only one is activated. That will be step one.

There's a thread somewhere on AZ with the removal steps. I use 2 ramps and a couple of milk crates, perfect height.

I've done it so many times I lost count. I've done two GCA grills, they're good.

Here's all the tools needed to pull the front bumper.

Not that I've noticed. I did hit 50mpg for the first time ever. Not sure if the lip helped that or not. Not many lips for a non S-Line A6 plus I got it from Maxton Designs Canada for like $240?

3.0 TDI. Was consistently below 5L/100KM(47mpg and above)

I also did the JHM driveshaft carrier insert which also I cant confirm if helped or not. It was definitely worth the upgrade. Cost efficient mod plus fairly easy to install. Slight NVH increase but once again Im in a diesel so everything already vibrates.

I'm considering going with the JHM version since you don't have to strip your OEM one off, still early in my mileage however!

I would assume that not only would you get the performance aspect of it(street and track inserts come with it), it would also extend the life of your current bushing. My buddy has 52K miles on his A8 TDI and he just bought JHM also.

good to know, and I think there is less NVH with it too, I'm only around 32K miles on my 2017

Lower rear control arm was bent slightly but the bushings were worn anyways and in need of replacement and through an unfortunate event the cv boot was damaged and I didn’t feel like doing a rebuild on the existing axle so that got replaced also
