Everyone on here and other audi boards recommended it. A lot of owners with Estoril Blue have done it because its so easy to get swirls in this soft paint. They actually put two layers on to make sure it'll hold up.

Well, I just washed and waxed her after I had got back from the long trip. I also installed the license plate as it was coming in the mail during the week when I was away from home.

The original smd led with it's series resistor were replaced by this:

The new series resistor is 40 Ohm with 2 watts. The led is running with 100mA without cooling.

Dual 2.5", quad 3.5" slash cut tip, 2 rear muffler, 2 resonator, v-band with sealing centering ring and clampco vband :)

H&R ETS? Hmmm. I have to get all this figured out before mine arrives. All I know for sure is I want the APR tune after the 5k service. @CreoSTi I am going to hit you up for advice when I get mine, like where to get tint and I guess Eurocode is the place to get the tune in SoCal.

Sure thing, but I never tint so I won't be able to help you out there... My plan = Eurocode Tuning for the APR tune, Supreme Power (http://www.supremepowerparts.com/) for wheels/tires/suspension, AWE Tuning for the exhaust, and Euro-Tech Motors (in Culver City) for parts installations/maintenance. That should hold me over for a few years...

Good thing I'm too old for peer pressure Won't be taking pics until the 24 hours away from elements is up (1830 tonite) and then the Black Pearl will leave the garage and oics taken. I can say one thing it looks pretty good in a closed garage. I was very nervous not to mess up the process. Bought the Turtle waxer/polisher $23 @ Walmart and then applied The Optimum Finish Polish , Car Pro Cleaner and then The OptiCoat. Took about 5 total hours to do. Clock runs out just in time to drive Transporter to MNF viewing of Eagles game in Smyrna GA. Then it will be time to track when the Magnaflow exhaust gets here.

ROFL they are plasti dipped so even when i spray the ever agonizing front bake dust off they will still be the color anthracite. That made me laugh. Notice the grille and side mirrors are the same color.
