Just got my RS6 grill as well. Removed the RS6 badging, and want to epoxy on the Quattro lettering in the rear, doesn’t seem as robust as I would like.



Planning on wrapping the cross bar instead of painting unless anyone has any advice as to why that’s a bad idea...

Is that the factory grill or Stone Carbon? Looks great!

Just follow bed in procedure. If you are really used to the old pads, it will take an adjustment to like these pads.

LMFAO. To be honest these were the most complicated brakes I've ever done, but really not bad at all. I went much slower because I wanted to protect the paint, something that isn't an issue on most cars brakes. And that spring clip, now that was a pain in the ass!

Perfect fitment. Epoxied the rear of the “quattro” to further secure it, and same with the parking sensor mounts. Overall very pleased.

Received some more alcantara fabric from my shop and already finished up the gloovebox and the panel under steeringwheel. With that done i guess i did what i was planning to do (wrap/cover almost all fake leather plastic on the interior). The door cardboard still have a few fake stuff on it, ideally would need real leather like the arm rest but not sure if that is a good idea (like when you open window when it has rained and water spots on real leather?). I might still get some more alca fabric to do the door sills but not sure if it is worth it (+wear of getting in/out the car...i always try to carefully enter the car but since lowered you sometimes hit the sills with dirty feet etc).

Anyway, happy with the result :)
*soon some fiber optic led cable to finish up the the ambiant lighting (with custom color picking).

It looks very nice what you've done. I see you took a different stitching path for the seat trims... Mine are a little different. I was not quite happy with the stitching on the left side and in the process of having it re-done/recovered. In the second pic you can see where I had the stitch done in black, but wanted the rock gray to match the seat stitch.

Yes you and my romanian friend inspired me to do the alca wrap ;). Well the seat panels and fuse box panels were done by the shop and not so happy with them aswell. They did it cheap looking, no real seam but only two lines of stitching. I might redo them myself properly...
The issue with silver grey stitching is, any small defect or not perfect smooth line gets obvious and to get it match with the seats i decided to let the stitching on the lower curves instead of aligned with the top and close to the seat stitching. Personal opinion but not liking the darker matching stitching as it doesn't give the contrast and fitting the rest of the stitching but doesn't take away it still looks superb!
For me it was more about the challenge and overall happy with the result. Sure my skills still needs some improvement, several steps where you can fuck it up (fabric can be perfectly stitched but fail when you apply it on piece, once glued hard to correct but figuering out several tricks to get better result with every new piece :).
*silly how messy/unclean the seat rails get once you upgrade the interior....at least they stick out as unfinished with the rest of interior now. Something i didn't noticed that much before haha.

Well, I broke my passenger rear speaker cover . Part appears to only be $45 (B&O people seem to be $200+). Not sure if all I need is a trim removal tool and can just pop it off or if the entire door panel has to come off. Hoping for the formerAttachment 155390

No I didn't. I used a wider 3m tape.

Simple trim removal kit/tool. It's just tabs. Replaced the speaker cover in about 2 full minutes.

That’s F*cked up! All of us in the Chicagoland area know your car and wheels. I’m sure they will be spotted, as they are not a common wheel. Hope the car was not damaged by this crime.
