I installed mine on Christmas while my kids slept off their toy hangover. Subtle, but def. an improvement. Well worth the modest investment. Drivetrain absolutely feels more solid.

    Have you noticed any NVH?

I did the 034 inserts on my car yesterday, no noticeable NVH but have not done any highway driving. I agree with the subtle but worthwhile improvement.

For some reason the trans insert was troublesome with the bolts going back in. They both went in easily until about 2mm left to go but got really tight. I took it back out and blew out some oxidation debris, went in fine after that. The rear end inserts were way easier than I expected, everything went in easily.

I've heard of more than a few people who installed the diff insert and shortly after they blew a hole through their rear diff with a hard launch.

My theory is the flex in the drivetrain is important to transfer energy. When those parts can't flex, something else needs to.

I trust 034 and expect if this were true they would have some significantly public backlash. I haven’t heard anything but positive feedback on the inserts, though I will change my opinion if you provide any actual proof of your accusation.

Here's a couple from the last thread on this subject in the 4.0t performance group.

I don't think these are the outrage type of people in the performance group.

Installed mine 2 days ago as well. I think the person or persons that Eric is referring to are driving cars with 700hp and a ridiculous amount of torque. Not an issue with my 310hp stock A6 3.0T.
