What did you do with your c7 today?

Beside swapping from ngk race plug back over to the stock ngk "M" plugs, car finally no longer stutters at 4.000rpm!
Swapped my cats for bigger cats on the stock exhaust for emission tests, hope to pass on wensday!
Finally started swapping the leather mid door panels with some OEM alcantara mid panels i scored for 150€. Sadely not the complete panels but only the mid ones, but in the end all i needed and wanted (for now). Had to cut and glue but prefect job. Also installed some rs door handles i had scored some time ago :). Happy (half side done).

Nothing major, finally hardwired my Escort 360C radar detector to side fuse panel (was on the mirror wires, mount failed and the radar fell pulling wires out of the mirror... so I didn't want that to happen again). I've thought about the mirror mounts but the view is limited as it is and I felt it was too cluttered. Got a new windshield mount and new kit, ran to side of panel (fuse column C, far left if looking at it, position 3), all clean again.

You'll want to be careful doing that. These tabs on the inner edge can break and then the grilles don't seal against the bumper.

To be safe, I'd recommend removing the front belly pan and reaching underneath to depress the tab. They dry and crack easily with age.



I have a set of these in my garage that I'd let go since I'm not using them. They're the gloss black trim from Europrice.

It doesn't need a filler plate. But it had a big ugly bracket for the plate that I took off. So then I used the wrap to cover the holes from the plate bracket.

I think he means the rims actually. The front of the curved "blade" should point in the direction of the vehicle movement!

Ohhhhh damn. I've always been a fan of peelers but had no idea they came in 21 inch form, which Audi were they from originally? I might have seriously consider them when my tires need replacing
