Honestly, not much of a difference at all. Hopes where high, but pretty disappointed. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Did you put a big sheet that runs under the whole trunk floor? The one that you lift up for the spare tire. I put 2 layers of it together and put a layer under the whole floor. In my car, I would say it is def a 20-30% noise decrease. I also reset ANC

For those on the fence about the degree of performance change (as I was) — it is a massive difference. To put this in perspective, my personal opinion is that this feels like a bigger change (or at least as big) than stock to stage 1. I couldn’t really tell the difference from stage 1 to stage 2.

Awesome. My plan is to get them next month. Been crazy busy and still trying to get the pump and heat exchanger installed and tested first. I have to agree with you on stage 1-2. I feel like it is more responsive but not to the extreme I was hoping for. I am installing an SRM intake this week as well. Thanks again for your feedback!!!!!

Concur. For folks wondering, the OEM RS7 turbos along with the APR ECU and TCU tunes for stage 3 seem to still be the best combination of performance and reliability currently available on our cars. I applaud folks who are attempting to go bigger/better/faster and doing pioneer work, but if you want to simply go fast now without experimentation or worry, the APR stage 3 tune on our cars has been out for 2 years, and I’ve not heard a single complaint/regret.

Can this be safely done without additional hardware (cooling, etc.) if not planning on tracking the car or driving it hard for extended periods? Or is this one of those you gotta pay to play?

Hard to say. I was lucky enough to have a second person helping who had done it before, so that undoubtedly cut out some of the learning curve time. But I also did extra stuff such as swapping to an RS grille and adding an integrated ALP laser / radar set up. That said, doing turbos, plugs, coils, oil separator, new oil/coolant lines, etc. was probably a good 15 hours of work going at a methodical pace (not trying to rush anything). Neither of us are experienced mechanics, so that is probably a reasonable average diy time with a second set of hands.

I wouldnt recommend doing it without having upgraded cooling (and downpipes). Kpriv already had these installed previously

Downpipes were a given I understood. I guess I will plan on cooling as well. I fear my turbos are going so I am planning ahead.

I don't think downpipes need to be replaced (RS7 has more power with the same downpipes), unless you want more sound and the small amount of extra power, and the cooling upgrade only if you are going to drive the car hard for long periods of time, or you live in a very hot climate.

Were you able to apply this stuff on curves / rounded areas? My car has a noticeable but not horrible drone and want to tone it down just a tad. Have you thought about adding a 2nd layer of DynaPad on top?

Comparable in horsepower to a Stage 1 RS7, but does not produce as much torque as a Stage 1 RS7 (at least mine on a dyno on the same day as a Stage 1 Performance RS7 earlier this year). If you like the exterior body style of the RS7, likely smarter to simply go with an RS7 and add a simple tune without going through all of the modification hassle on an S6. That said, I prefer the sedan, and enjoyed the experience of bringing mine to Stage 3.

Replaced a faulty evap valve that was causing occasional starting problems. Shout out to the 4.0t thread for helping me figure this out!

$55. Keep in mind I'm driving an A6 3.0t. Same problem and solution as what the 4.0t thread suggests.

Damn I'll take that as a punt. Do you have the part number by chance? Seems like it is. Have you used boostane at all? Just wondering if that might be a cause.
