What did you do with your c7 today?

Put my summer wheels on and upgraded to the nicer steering wheel. Now just need to black out the window trim, upgrade the rotors and paint the calipers.

Rustoleum Bedliner in a spray can. I just masked off the radiator and anything I didn’t want to get overspray on. It worked well.

I’m inclined to agree as I painted mine with regular rust oleum and it looks like crap after a New England winter. Lots of chips and has to be redone. Another reason I am leaning toward switching to the OEM black ops grill.

I know it's all about personal preference, but not sure you "need," to black out the window trim. Your car is very similar to one of my cars - silver paint and black wheels, I love the fact the silver paint helps blend the chrome window trim nicely and it's not really noticeable.

What color are you thinking about for your calipers? That's my next project also on my silver car.

Funny, I have never been to cars and coffee. Between getting these mounted and the weather I opted out. Yeah man this weather does a great job hiding all that dirt and pollen.

I’ve got pirelli for summer (stock) and was only able to get pirelli for winter as that’s what was in stock when I ordered. Not a huge fan of either.

Those are PSS' and so far I really like them. Sadly I don't have anything to compare them to as that's all I have run on the car.

Now on my track bike I used to be a diehard Michelin fan till I was replacing them and Pirelli's were on sale. Hands down way better of a tire when comparing them gripwise to the comparable Michelin offering that I was used to. Not sure about tread life but they sure do inspire confidence and made me faster as a result. Does it translate over to the world of 4 wheels? That, I do not know.

Thoughtful commentary appreciated. I had PSS and PS4S on my last car and enjoyed them very much. They were both quiet (PS4S more so), predictable and allowed me to have a clear sense of the available grip. The only real beef I have with the Pirelli’s is a bit less feel (which is likely partly due to suspension) and noise as compared to Michelin. That said, my car supposedly does 0.93 on skid pad wearing 20” Pirelli’s, so they certainly have plenty of dry grip!

At this level of street tire, preferences come down to small nuances rather than big performance differences.

Took the plunge and purchased APR Intercooler 3.0 TFSI along with SuperCharger Crank Pulley and belt to complete my Stage 2 upgrade.

New grille finally came. Was able to get it installed without taking bumper off. was surprised at the quality the eBay knock offs are at now a days didn’t have to trim anything just had to relocate the front parking sensor wire clips farther down the wire and move the ambient temp sensor mount and everything else was plug and play
