What did you do with your c7 today?

Hey OlyS6, code your start/stop so the LED light is off when off, and on when on. That's what I did, rather than to disable it completely, since it has the same effect, and you can use it if you ever want to. On module 09 (cent. elec.), enter security code 20113, then change channel 34 from from 52 to 116. If you have a different number just add 64 and it reverses the LED light, while maintaining functionality 100%. With that channel you can also disable it (there's a direct channel for that too) and make it remember the last setting, which S6s have from the factory, so your car should have 52 as well. Hope this helps. And your steering wheel looks great, by the way.

I thought about doing this as well, are you gonna have the headliner wrapped or are you buying oem? Show before and after pics when you're done

I just went and picked it up, the sound this emits with the downpipes is truly next level. I loved my Milltek but this makes me feel like I’m really in an exotic Italian sports car.

To get the drive select mode to show up in your DIS when changed, in VCDS, go to module 17, and in the long coding, change the 5th digit to an 8. Mine was 03 CF 09 05 BF 51 D7 05 02 02 00
I changed it to 03 CF 89 05 BF 51 D7 05 02 02 00. Worked perfectly!

Hey, thanks a lot brother. You mostly wanted to do that since now you can change modes from your sterring wheel, correct? Next time I go in there will check which byte/bit you have to change. Since it's on the 3rd set of pairs, it must be on byte 3. It's only a matter of checking which bits are selected and which aren't, changing that digit, and going back to see which bit was changed. I always prefer to know exactly which bit, rather than messing with the long code itself. But knowing both is even better. He he. Thanks again.

Correct on byte 3. The value on my byte 3 changed from '09' to '89'
Yep, I wanted to be able to see which mode I'm in while pressing the button from the steering wheel. I typically have the MMI screen in media mode or in the down position. This way I can see it without having to flip the MMI into 'car' mode.

Finally got my Chromecast working so my 'passengers' can enjoy whatever they please whenever they please and I can use WAZE to keep somewhat aware of the men in blue along my route.

Also added some S Line latch covers to all 4 doors.

Well after only having my S6 for 3 days now I decided to scare my credit card company. Had to register the car today, decent hit, then said well....time to nut up or shut up. Took advantage of Nick@E1motorsports tax sale, ordered APR downpipes and CPS system, also ordered APR Stage 1, TCU tune, and Milltek non-res exhaust w/ black tips with local APR dealer here in Vegas. After all was said and done, I realized I forgot to order and intake as well

. So I'll call him tomorrow and have him add that. Needless to say, now the hard part comes, waiting for parts to show up and installation

. I'll be taking the car into local Audi to have it inspected for any possible issues it may have since I did find a few things I'm not happy about once I got her home and was able to really give the car a once over, something I should have done before accepting the car at the Audi dealer in CA. Thankfully I have a customer/friend of mine who has been a tech over there for a number of years and he is aware of what my plans are for the car, said he'll check everything before I install mods so if anything needs to be warrantied it'll be taken care of.

My (basic) understanding is that this particular mod works only for post-facelift models. I am no authority on this whatsoever, so hopefully you'll be able to find something that will work for your car.

Well, it was actually yesterday, but had the car fitted with 21” OEM RS7 Performance wheels powder coated metallic grey. Still need to find center caps, but so happy with the look!
