Repainted the crash bar after it took a beating during the winter. This time went with a more durable undercarriage coating as opposed to a simple rustoleum. Properly prepped and the installed eurocode sways. Huge difference and feels great.

Grill marks are good, but only on steak!

Nice, I need to do this. My crash bar is covered in super cracked vinyl after 2 winters. I have bedliner spray waiting for me

I couldn’t take it anymore. It was driving me crazy seeing the crash bar so beat up, it felt like it cheapened an otherwise nice car! I ended up using four coats of 3M undercarriage spray, with about 30 minutes between coats while I worked on the sways. I’m thinking it will hold up a lot better than a one coat rustoleum job. Stuff seems pretty durable and I’ve read lots of good things about it.

Next up is caliper painting, still trying to decide on a color. I want something different than red, maybe Porsche acid green or yellow or blue?!!! Clearly I’m at a crossroad!!!

Completely and total kn y u understand, it bothers me like nothing else. Will fix soon, before any car shows.

Look at detective coatings out of VA. They do a core exchange for S6 calipers.

Checked the fitment on my 20x10 Avant Garde F421 Spec II’s

and changed the hardware to gold instead of the champagne (not pic’d). They don’t fit with the S6 BBKs but I have some nice Rolloface’s coming soon (wheels are spec’d for).

When i figure out how to uplod clips i will. It sounds amazing with JHM downpipes, resonator removed and stock mufflers. And what im the most happy about is no drone at any speeds.

I ran in the Audi Club of NJ event at Pocono on Friday. It was a great day with plenty of Audi’s and many other marques. Scrolling through my pictures and recollection IMG_9167.jpgwe had a couple S3, a Nardo RS3, two S6 (including mine), two R8. Besides Audi, a couple 991 GT3, a few older GT3, a handful of Caymans (everything from fairly stock to full Cup car setup), Corvettes (including a wicked fast old guy in a new Z06), a McLaren owner getting acclimated to his new ride, a bright orange Viper, a couple C63 AMG, numerous M3, M2, 3 series, full race prep E30 3 series.

Great variation of rides, had a wonderful PCA instructor with me to help refine my driving. Lots of fun.

Drove from western New York to Georgia to participate in the Quattro De Mayo. Heading back now.

Awesome event put on by the Georgia Chapter of ACNA. Four days of activities and two days of great drives.

The workshop had my car for about a month but i think it took about 10 days top to get this result ans since I bought used parts only which cost me 3500 USD for rear fenders, rear doors, side skirts, rear bumper, wheelhouse and some small parts along to build. So totally incl labor it landed on around 6500 USD for the rear build.
Only the rear fenders at Audi dealer costs 2100 USD so I think I did it really cheap if I compare to the other guys that did the same thing.
