It’s funny that I didn’t notice it until you mentioned it, but yeah they are pretty narrow. Overall, I’m pleased with how they ride and decreased road noise from my other set.

Not today but over the past week: installed a Kicker CVR12 and Audio Control 1.300 amp to replace the factory Bose sub. Huge improvement to say the least. With the battery in the trunk, install was very easy. I ran the knob for the amp up the side and under the door sills to the driver side footwell, and secured it just below and left of the steering wheel on the dash. I hated drilling the 4 tiny holes in my dash, but no way was 2-sided tape going to keep it in place.

Why not put it in the center console pocket (under AC)? Or under the armrest?

What's the go to brand for diffusers on our cars that don't make them look like a hot wheels car lol

Looking for that subtle and sleek look, my first choice is maxton?

Honestly I wasn't keen to try to get the console out after watching several videos.

Got a transmission fluid/filter service scheduled with a local independent shop that specializes in European cars. Quoted $600. I figure $400 for labor is worth me not having to crawl around on the garage floor for a few hours.

Thought I'd put some more space between your A/S C7 and my A7plus... Probably my last mod, there's nothing else to do. I've been patiently waiting for this to become available in the "cosmos" after Audi USA discontinued it a few years ago. There are a few pre-owned examples, but I wanted new. I have the S6/S7 sport exhaust now and it sounds great, but just wanted this bit for bragging rights.

Should be at my door tomorrow, "what can brown do for you?"

What did you do with your c7 today?

Got front pads and rotors replaced again yesterday (thanks FCP). Yet again, plenty of life on pads, but the innier side of the rotors got a bit of a rusty edge and we're starting to shake on braking. Gotta love the Northeast. Also got my trans mount done. I've gotta say, the C7 calipers are so easy to deal with and get pads in and out. Also my trans mount wasn't torn, but was significantly more compressed than the new one. Also finally got a mount for my insta360

Understood. Thank you for the info, I ask because I get a code every 4 or so months that pertains to the O2 sensors. I clear it and roll on but it comes back, I think this will be in my future. I do have a few months remaining on my Fidelity warranty, I just really struggle with the concept of leaving my car at the dealership. Mostly got the warranty in case something catastrophic happened.

I've heard tale that if you remove the upper tunnel that the plug is super accessible. I did the fender liner route and hated it!! Hopefully it's true!!

Yea I had the exact same issue, i would reset the code and it would come back in a few months. It was when I tuned my car it would come back every week and then i got codes for both post cat sensors. Sensor 1 is easy peasy and can be done in 5 min, sensor 2 is the problem.

In my case accessing the sensors on the downpipes is not the problem, it was the harness connection. Its located under the engine behind the passenger wheel.

I was honestly debating on cutting the old o2 sensor off and soldering a new pigtail routed inside the engine bay.

On Friday my car started absolutely screaming at an idle, scared the hell out of me at first because it does sounds expensive when it happens, lol. So I just had to order all the parts to replace the PCV - figured I might as well remove the turbo oil strainer and change the spark plugs and ignition coils while I've got everything apart.

I've debated throwing in a TGK intake while I've got it all apart as well, but I just don't think the gains are worth the cost.

Are you on stock turbos? Then I'd argue on the gains vs cost on the intake isn't worth it. But if you ever plan to upgrade those snails, then it would become a must IMO.

Yep, stock turbos. I talked myself out of it for the same reason. I'm planning to stick with stock turbos for the foreseeable future. I have high quality E85 locally and that'll give me plenty of power. I just ordered the JHM fuel line relocation kit to help support the fuel system though.

Replaced the solenoid valve block for the air ride, hoping that resolves my issues with the front/rear bottoming out at random. Fingers crossed - no issues after a short test drive. I'll know for sure tomorrow on the ride in to work
