The shift knob was a leftover part from my s4. I bought if years ago from europrice. This one will be for sale in a few weeks. I have a new one coming in with matching boot.

yup everything can come off, its just clipped on but you have to be careful not breaking anything, take your time with it and the result will be prefect

My wife wanted the windows tinted in her A6.... Done by "Sunsational" in Bridgeport PA (Near King of Prussia). Yes, its outside the Valley Forge Casino... I really should have stayed outside that day as well, the craps table was NOT good to me :(

Looks great man! Also the shift knob is super easy... U just pry off the boot and pull up on the knob and viola! It's out. Just be sure to have ur new knob because once you take out the original the gear selection button depresses itself. And I never got it to come back up.

I did the heat and twist method. Didn't require much heat or twisting actually. And it wasn't even straight but the way the shaft is designed you can't possible install it off center.

I actually do miss the s6. I figured once I got the 911 I wouldn't care butttttt, the s6 still has it's place. That being said, by the end if the year I'll prob pick up another.

I figured, we have done similar changes myself and ended up adding another car back in the mix to meet all our needs. Sounds fun, now you can a new color, etc this time around!

Just incase anyone was curious, they looked freaking amazing and had no issues with clearance, rubbing, or sticking outside fender. Front wheel was turned from one extreme to the other with no issues. The fitment was perfect as it filled the wheel area and stayed within the fender both in the front and back. My car is also lowered, which just completed the look.

Not sure why others have not opted to go with this size, but once the new Pilot Super Sport size offering from Michelin arrive in the US (being produced in France an currently on a boat) it will be sporting the 285/30 R21 rubber on all four corners.

went to the track after work got a few runs in to test out stage II goodies for Unitronic only got 4 runs in. Considering far from ideal track conditions I'm happy with the progress we are making for the platform. Hope to share more when we get a nice cold day.
