I paid $90 so if you found one for $70 scoop it up. It’s still a bargain compared to Tag’s emblem.

So I found plenty on Aliexpress for dirt cheap. If anyone is interested just search for "Audi s6 badge" and you will find may different styles. I found the same one you purchased for, um, lets just say a $80 discount. I know the wait is close to 3 weeks which sucks but oh well.

Last wednesday I took it for a 450 mile drive. First half was all highway high speed driving, the second was a fine twisty road I know by heart. I traveled alone, so I could push it as much as I wanted to.

The S6, just performed great, what a beauty, comfortable, fast, responsive, it does feel like a personal jet.

The only part that left me wanting more where the breaks with the EBC Brakes Red Stuff pads; they certainly do start to fade when pushed hard.

And so it came today. Looks good but the fitting is far from good (damn my high standards). Was worth a punt for £5.

It’s slightly too long from the bottom. But it does cover all of the leather and looks really nice but for me it just sticks up a little too high. I’ve not stuck it down yet but it still holds on. I might leave it like this a see if I can live with the extra lip.

What do you guys think

It just slides over it with 3m tape but its really snug fit as is so i didnt even peel the sticker to stick on. It wont come off unless i add a bit of force

I honestly dont think it looks bad at all. Its not a replacement knob so u shouldnt expect it to not sit a but higher. Ur adding a few mm to it so its expected. Looks good imo!

Its just the stretched image of the replacement piece filled into the oem leather place.

I found some good ones but they are not OEM like Tags but a fraction of the cost. If you are the type who feels like you have to pay 70 to 100 bucks for something that tiny cool. If you have no objections getting one from another source overseas PM me. I will send you pics of the one I have and actually may have a spare for you.

Cheap, $5 mod from aliexpress. I actually like it a lot. The cf pattern doesnt match but my ocd isnt that bad. I think it looks great

I saw those, but I couldn't deal with the fake carbon pattern seeing there's real carbon is close by it. For not much more you can get a real carbon version and I can confirm it fits great and no tape was needed. Been running it since December with no issues. I paid $22.28 shipped, here's a link:
