What did you do with your c7 today?

In my quest to keep up with the likes of p3u, Dasquade, widebody FX, Morski, mbauer0, durfA4, doc-haz, and 07S6... I'm sure I've missed someone that has inspired me, as if I needed to be prodded...

My latest mods include a carbon fiber retractable wing. I found one on eBay for a reasonable price in excellent condition. Shipping it to Carbon Designz on Monday for carbon skinning. Don't know how much this will save me, but it's 1800. for the part and carbon skinning. Also, I was able to score a couple of yards of genuine Alcantara in anthracite, not readily available aftermarket since the Italian factory is at producing capacity and the high end auto manufactures are taking all they can produce, for my front seat frame trims. I thought red Alcantara might be a bit much. Some have done carbon, but since carbon is not an interior theme, I thought not!

Superb on the Alcantara work. The spoiler should also look terrific to go along with your valance.

It doesn't need a filler plate. But it had a big ugly bracket for the plate that I took off. So then I used the wrap to cover the holes from the plate bracket.

I've had ecode LEDs for about 2 years. Bunch of little parts went on this round. Not much left to do :(

It turned out okay when I pulled out the grilles. I pulled from the pointy end and didnt break anything even on my '14.

p3u, question: Back when I put my RS air box in, I got a DTC, can't remember what the fault was but, you knew to punch the plug out in the bottom of the box and all would be fine. My question is how did you figure?

After getting the SAI code I figured the hose came loose and was not connected to the RS7 box, so I removed to verify. Upon seeing it was connected I removed the airbox and and compared the two. That's when i noticed the port was sealed on the RS7 box vs. open on the 3.0t. Quick drill and SAI codes gone.

Ohhhhh damn. I've always been a fan of peelers but had no idea they came in 21 inch form, which Audi were they from originally? I might have seriously consider them when my tires need replacing

They were a 21" option on the S7 and S8 as well as the Q7, but different ET and BP.

Thanks. I looked at the Q7 ones, but like you say different bolt pattern. I'm guessing the S7 and S8 ones are harder to find.

They are 21x10 Q7 peelers. 5x130 and I run adapters.

They are OE with OEM red webbing. I think some get OE/OEM confused. Not saying you are one of them...

I had my Audi dealer remove my OE belt mechanisms and sent them to a shop that uses OEM webbing for replacement.

OE being Original Equipment. OEM being original equipment manufacturer.
