What did you do with your c7 today?

Car was pulling to the right under heavy braking. Took it in for an alignment which resolved it. I was way off based on the before/after readings:

If you lowered the car, that would explain the toe being way off

I did lower it about 11mm so yeah that makes sense. Got the work done at the dealer which came to about $170 out the door.

Put a set of Disc Italia Hyper Ceramics on the fronts the other day. HUGE improvement in terms of dust and noise compared to the OEM pads. As others have said, less initial bite - and I'd say less bite throughout the first half of the pedal. But it's well worth it.

My car sounded like a banshee every time I pulled up to a stop light, so to mitigate I'd brake way later and harder, and I'm sure drivers thought I was distracted or something at each stop smh

Highly recommend.

Nah I have an S6...stupid me picked a model specific name as a noob...smh. begged AZ to let me change it and retain my account history, got crickets back.

No I don't think my pads came with those, there was no piece hanging off the side like that, just the pad and the plate (?) housing they were mounted in.

Also asked the shop (Achtuning) to just re-use the shims and put a tab of silicone on to make em sticky again. It's a crime Audi charges almost 300 for a set when they can easily be reused (at least once).

Almost a week in and I am still loving the silence out of my window and totally used to the pedal feel now.

Check out the guarantee from FCP Euro. They have shims at 175ish and will replace your used parts forever. Not sure how they plan to stay in business. Lol

Very true because they def got me with it LOL...When I got it back one of my speakers were blown also. looks like someone thought it was theirs .

I ask, because my S7 Super Sports are Euro spec, and the passenger seat has no occupancy sensor, it triggers an airbag light. I've got a few things to try, but been busy with other projects, There is a member on the boards Kevin1 I think, he says he has some coding that will eliminate the light. Reached out to him, he responds "shoot me your email address." And nothing, crickets. I think he might be full of it...

You may need to have a dealer do the adaptation and have the occupancy sensor coded to your airbag control module. I just had this done yesterday at the dealer for my A5. I put the S5 seats in Sunday, plug n' play, NOT! Airbag light... went to the dealer and they handled it, can't be done with VAG... As for the C7, I removed the occupancy sensor from my OE seat, and will try fitting it into the SS seat. I guess it's worth a try. Here is a couple shoots of the B8.

I think I need to pick up a new battery also. Anyone have recommendations or should I just go to the dealer?

Recalibrated my rear backup camera. Not sure why it lost calibration, but may be while I was tweaking things, not sure. My windshield was replaced and the Audi tech said the rear had to be calibrated before the front could be.

So I did it myself, thanks to this thread. Worked well. Wish there was a DIY way to do the lane departure camera too...

Yeah that's what I ended up doing yesterday. Had it on the charger all night hoping to breathe life back into the battery but she didn't have enough juice to turn the car over after a 15 minute drive. I couldn't delay anymore.
