What are some of the best plates you've seen on our model line?
I am in CA debating on what custom plate to get...Help me out!

Speaking from personal experience here: do not get a personalized/vanity plate. It invites unwanted attention. I used to have one on an old car of mine and I got a lot of shit for it, and the car also got keyed twice and egged once. As soon as the plate was up for renewal I ditched it for a generic one...problem solved.

Mine is my forum handle. I've run it on and off for 20 years. It's most embarrassing when I have to explain it to a cop that has just pulled me over because he took umbrage with my rate of progress.

I can definitely see some plates gathering unwanted attention. I've been considering a vanity plate as well and I've decided to go with a simple string of numbers that has meaning to me, but to any observer just looks like random numbers. I don't think I would go with anything that sounds or spells something that could invite people to mess with the car.

Exactly. Inflammatory stuff like "RS4 2 NV" or "RS4 PWR" only invite people to (A) street race you, (B) fuck with the car, and (C) give you shit. Yes we all get you drive a nice car, you don't have to rub it in everyone else's face.

B7 S4 V8 on mine.

I was going to have All Torque (in retrospect I like this one), Blitzkrieg or Vorsprung but went for simple and informative.

I've also registered QUAT7RO for when my wife gets her Q7.

Save money for mods - avoid vanity plates. Don't forget you'll pay more every year.
