    radio can be turned on without fob?

    i'm in the garage cleaning the car.
    get around to cleaning the interior and manage to turn on the radio.

    is this normal?

    Sounds legit to me... You can't start the engine obviously but I can see it being useful to have access to stereo/navi and such without having to have key.

    I don't see many uses to locking down the stereo/navi without a key? If you don't want someone to access stereo/navi you lock the car ;)

    You can simply push down on the radio volume button on the center console and the radio will play for 10 minutes before it turns off automatically. Press again for another 10 minutes.

    It's on the right side of the shifter just aft of the coin slots, on cars with nav and B&O. Rotary knob with a volume icon.
