Hood fits very very nice as does the Eurogear trunk. Very happy, but it will be getting color matched to car

2bennett cf sunroof delete being installed. Nhra cage certification next week

Cage builder is unfortunately retired and this was his last cage.

fresh out of the paint booth, I opted to keep the car its original color since this will be a stripped out track slut

euroworks vented cf hood, euroworks cf trunk, 2bennett cf sunroof delete, and 8.50 NHRA cage all painted and color matched to car....

the hood isnt bolted in so its way off....

getting my 8 piston champ car brembo calipers soon....

For someone making it a track car, the extra ~30mm of rubber can make an enormous difference. Several seconds per lap kind of different.

To some, the extra time is worth more than having it on the street just for looks.

Sick build what turbos are you going to run? The GTX2867's you had.
Info on engine mods. I also plan on doing the 2bennett sunroof delete and
a cage just not as extensive as yours just behind the front seats.

Heads should be pretty crazy.

Car has no heater core no door panels, no carpet no spud deadening no stereo no rear seats.... Stripped

Cat cams .5 oversized valves fully built and ported. Should be magic. Head games turned me down, but I was recommended by a good friend to a guy that buit some crazy 1.8 t heads which are apparently quite similar to 2.7 heads....

Ive spent a fair chunk of change on the build, but Im very happy with the way its going. It may be taking a little while, but good things come to those who wait!



Updated the build with the current setup. All the fab, assemble and tuning is being done by Independent Speed Shop in Langley BC. I cant say enough about these guys. Big thanks to CTS Turbo as well for hooking me up with parts and random stuff stuff that would of been a headache without them.

Had the rear subframe, rear lower control arms, rear uprights, rear shock mounts blasted and re-painted to clean them up. Valve covers, front and rear calipers sent out for paint as well. Tommy @ ISS is going to be fabbing up some inlets and modifying the sidemounts next. Still waiting on a new bearing for the GTR diff and axles from DSS.

Heading out to Sema tomorrow with the guys from ISS to checkout some goodies for the car and decide which dash cluster unit I want to use, never been to Vegas and this is my first time at SEMA so Im pretty pumped!

I know!! Tommy @ ISS did a killer job on the cradle. Since GTRs are so common here in BC I paid next to nothing for the rear end as well.

Thanks! Diff has to be pulled to install new bearings, tabs will be taken care of at that time.

Hopefully you can take some pics and share any cool new dash clusters you find at SEMA. I have been looking for something to use with my non-Audi project, but haven't seen anything on the market that fits what I am looking for as of right now.
