I was wondering when you were running your OEM B6 S4 exhaust if you had a raspy sound to your exhaust. I'm definitely not use to it but the guys at my work says it sounds good and referred to it as R32ish sounding.

As far as I can remember it was not raspy at all. It sounded like an OEM+ exhaust system. Check out my 91oct and 93oct video for WOT sound!

Might as well ask for the hell of it, ordered the Cross rod and the ssk, how much of a difference am I gonna feel compared to stock. I'm excited, just curious what to expect

Hmm maybe I'll have to take another look at it again, another question that I do have that came up today was... my car threw a code for P2096 Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Bank 1 Too Lean. Has anyone had this issues when I pulled it up on VAS PC the frequency counter showed it happened twice.

Bank one too lean? Did you do anything else besides exhaust? Are the o2 sensors installed correctly and in the right spot?

Also double check that the connector is pushed all the in. Maybe it will help... It happened to me

The only thing I did was exhaust, I did everything last Wednesday and have had no issues with CEL's or anything else. But it came on as I was going to work this morning. Under normal driving conditions had me worried. I'll have to double check connections but for now I erased it hoping it doesn't return. I had APR on my last car so even when I ran a full turbo back with no cat it was never an issues.

Hmm.. make sure everything is tightened correctly and there is no exhaust leaks. Are you currently tuned?

I'm not tuned waited for you guys to release your tune and the jumping on that ASAP. I'm not really concerned or upset at all just hope this issue was a fluke or something not to serious is going on.

I am sure you are going to love it! The Trio + Cross Rod (quattro package?) really makes a HUGE difference. Sometimes while I am waiting at stop lights I will just shift gears because I love the way it feels.

Haha, I can't wait to try it out! I'm getting my DTM S4 bumper put on for the eventual B7 FI Exhaust and Y-pipe, but definitely plan on installing those as soon as I get the car back.

Since I didn't care about having a sunroof deflector, I just removed it. Took me all of 20 seconds. Rattle free and it is great!

How?

I took a fat flat-head screw driver and popped the deflector off each side.

You can see in this photo at the top where the deflector connects to the sunroof rail. Just get the screw driver in between and pop it out.

NOTE: I approached the rails from the outside of the car for more leverage and room, and this is not my photo.



If your sunroof deflector is already detached from both of the bottom mounting clips (like shown in the photo above) because they have broken off like mind did, all you have to do is slide the deflector out once popping it out.

Hope this helps people who are in a hurry and do not want to remove their sunroof glass. If you save the deflector, it is reinstallable if you ever want to do the complete fix in the future.

can't be any worse than 5.4 from an Amateur shifter! you can say you do 0-60 faster than a stage 3 b7! thats good advertisement for the jhm tune

I've spent way too much time fiddling with the Torque app. Couple notes, I am not positive but I think the 0-60 calc uses OBD speed. I noticed on my car that the displayed OBD speed was pretty far off (low) from what the speedometer showed. So to calibrate, I created a page with three gauges: OBD Speed, GPS Speed and Speed Difference. Then on a clear highway, I set the cruise control to get a consistent delta. Then calculated OBD Speed divided by Speed Difference and I got 2.3%. Then you go into the Profile settings and adjust the speed multiplier, in my example, I changed it to 1.023. Now the OBD vs GPS speed still shows a delta, but the average is much closer.

My 0-60 page now has the 0-60 Widget, plus MAF, Boost and AIT.

For what it's worth, the tool on the link below shows a HP difference of about 5% from 50 to 90 degrees. Or a "300" hp motor makes 309.3 at 50 degrees and 295.8 at 90 degrees. That doesn't sound right... I would've guessed the difference would be larger.
