Maybe we can set up an meet, the problem is, you set a meet up and no one shows like Danville's C&C. Let's plan a May/June meet before it gets freaking hot.
Let me know, I can help out.

It's a widespread issue affecting all models with the 3G+ MMI, including early 2015s. You can open a case with AoA if your dealer can't help you. AoA knows all about the issue.

Is there any way to pull up info in the MMI or any other way to tell if the car has the 5F module already? I have an early '15 and even though I havent had this issue as of yet, it would be nice to know if I have the faulty unit so that I, hopefully, do not have issues in the future.

Not on a '15, but on a '13 and '14 you can tell by the firmware version. My replacement unit came with HN+_US_AU3G_P0733 and updated map data. The P in the version number indicates factory installed, as opposed to K, which indicates a dealer installed update. The early '15 already shipped with this version, but '13 and '14 shipped with older versions. As of March 2015, new cars ship with HN+_US_AU3G_P0814, which we are supposed to be able to get as an update hopefully fairly soon. It's already been pushed out for the A6 and A7.
