Puddle in my rear passenger footwell :(

So before I get yelled at to search, I checked the sunroof drains and they are not clogged. I poured water down all four and they drained properly. But why is my passenger carpet getting soaked every time it rains?? Are there any other known spots to check for leaks? I have a feeling its coming from somewhere behind the glove box...any insight? Thanks in advanced!!

Remove your battery and under it is a drain hole, if its jammed, water level will rise and get inside the car via ac pipe holes and goes under footwell carpet. Drain has a rubber part in it and it collects trashes. Remove it so you dont have to think about it again.

And dont just clean the rubber thing, remove it. Its only purpose is that water would drain out in nice line on the gearbox.

In the same rain you are in and can see why you had that happen if you didn't clean that area out or remove that rubber piece.

My audi specialist did it for me one day and I was confused as to why he did so until I realized how dumb it was to have it there in the first place. He told me he just removes them anytime he sees them under the battery.

I had this problem... Audi said to look at the drain and that did not fix it. Then I brought it back and it ended up being the seal in the windshield went bad and was leaking threw.

I really hope this is not the case. I had Audi replace the windshield maybe 2 years ago because of a crack from a kicked up rock. If this is the case, I really hope they will take care of things for me!
