Another silver single turbo s4

So I bought my S4 last summer, it had Miltek exhaust and an unknown chip in it. I put SSAC downpipes in it and replaced EGT sensors then took it to the track a handful of times. Best I ever got was 13.1@104 I believe. Near the end of summer passenger side turbo wasn't loving life so I put the car away for the winter and decided to start collecting parts for a single turbo conversion. Started tearing the car apart a little ways into April, about 3/4 of the way done, here's some of my parts:


- Precision 5858 turbo .64 A/R
- Integrated Engineering rods
- Precision 600hp intercooler
- Tial MVR44 wastegate
- Tial Q BOV
- Bosch 044 fuel pump
- Southbend Stage 4 Extreme clutch kit
- Bosch EV14 72lb injectors
- Rebuilt engine with 034 coated bearings, new rings, honed cylinders, lapped valves in heads and all new engine gaskets/seals
- Custom manifolds, merge pipe, and downpipe

No I didn't, I disassembled the engine to rebuild it and make my exhaust, I only had time to upload a few pics at lunch. I'm at work right now haha.

Who is tuning?

I'm near Lindsay, Ontario. The lift is pretty tied up at the moment lol. I'm not sure about tuning yet, I was thinking of the eurodyne maestro program but not sure yet. Haven't tried tuning myself before but I have to learn eventually and I'd rather it be on my own car.

I actually hadn't planned to do them but changed my mind last minute. I was going for a budget build but knew I would want to push it to the limits so I decided to do them. Then the engine rebuild snowballed from there.

Thanks! Yea I definitely plan on building some bracing before I finish up. I was going to run a brace at the rear similar to the one in the picture you sent me and probably another one from the front down to the two top trans bolts. Yep everything can be removed quite easily with engine in the car. I'm trying to make this thing as easy to work on as possible lol.

Any of you guys running non recirculating BOVs, are you hooking the line straight to the intake plenum or are you utilizing the factory diverter valve solenoid?

I just upgrade my Greddy RZ bov to Tial and connected to intake Turbo after the MAF Sensor and no more problems at idle .

That's a large recirculating line! Lol. I thought you were running a BOV to atmosphere, what made you change to recirc?

After hard pull engine is die all time when I press a clutch or switch to nutral that's why need it recirculetion line to have same amount of air as ECU seen !
