Come to think of it, you may want to check the blinker relay. That might be the source of the problem.

Check the wiring loom that goes from your door to the body of the car. You probably already solved it anyway.

I keep getting random misfires while idling or sometimes but rarely driving. This started happening after I changed to bkr7e copper plugs, stage 1+ and my Injectors. I double checked the gap on all my spark plugs and had my coils replaced about 3k miles ago with the newest revision. Any ideas what It could be?

No. Just remove the airbox to make it a lot easier to get the the front. And the rear you need to access from underneath

finally got the o2 sensor put in .... $100 as to $420 my dad wanted me to go to -.- 3 hours sitting on concrete pays off for no more check engine and 1 step closer to salvage inspections . now i have to figure out this brake light problem.

You would have to fix what ever the light is associated with whether it be brake light or reverse light.

What went wrong today? Nothing at all. I have owned this car for over 6 years and have about nothing into it. Has over 105K miles and runs like new. I will need a new part of exhaust, but I don't know if I blame Audi for that. I live in Pittsburgh. The salt capital of the planet. Sad to hear a few people having problems. Try and take care of your cars better. Enjoy.

Ahh where to begin... Power steering rack line connection leaking, PS sensor O-ring leaking (thank god only leaks when I drive) so no f***s given, I'll just keep fillin it up. California Emission standards can suck my test pipe. Rear brake pads are metal on metal, of course I put it off cuz why would I replace OEM parts, gotta do that Porsche BBK... so rockin that for a while. Also a stinky cooked stock clutch that sucks. Still debating between ECS's RA4 kit, or a Southbend Stage 2 Endurance. Fugit.

Another P0171 Fuel Trim code.. wonder what it is now.. the other day I had one and it was the Angled Y vacuum hose on top of the air box that goes into the evap purge solenoid valve.

You got your tune, prepare for all the weakness' in the system to shine through. You'll keep having problems until all of the weak links are gone. Good luck with fixing it though, run through a4darkness' engine strengthening thread and try to revamp some things.

Discovered oil in the garage that had the smell of gas to it. Pulled the dipstick to confirm fuel in the oil. Taking it back to the shop that installed my turbo tomorrow to see what's going on.

I now think I have a bad axle. Already replaced multiple control arms, wheel bearing and brakes. Still have noise in front end.

Do you drive it short distances a lot? Get the free kit from www.blackstone-labs.com, and then send them an oil sample with $25. Then you'll know for sure that you have fuel issues in the oil.

im getting a strange noise... pretty much sounds like a supercharger after 10+ lbs of boost.. it doesnt go by rpms...only boost. bad turbo? itll hold boost sometimes but itll go into limp mode sometimes.. i know i need to replace my n75 valve could it be the problem? if its the turbo i guess ill start saving up for a k04 *shrugs*
