Yes, it does fit the B8 & B8.5 S4 with the 3.0T supercharged engine and the B8 & B8.5 S5 with the 3.0T supercharged engine (to include S5 Cab)

Looks like a good product at a good price point if the numbers are really that good. Some of the other intakes seem hella-expensive for what they are but this one would be in the price range I would consider. In attempts to not get into dyno debates what I'm more interested in was the testing method used to publish those numbers. Are the numbers based on a before/after on the same dyno on the same car on the same day, same conditions comparing the OEM intake with this one? Are the numbers just the peaks or average? I'm just generally curious and not criticizing.

I'm not too concerned about a 15HP performance boost, but ~40 miles more per tank (understandably when driving "tamely") has my attention. I'm only getting ~320 miles per tank so that's a 12% increase in fuel efficiency. Hard to believe!

I agree... if you only saw 30 miles more per tank (I am assuming filling up with about 15 gallons on a 16.1 gallon tank... not running it bone dry), you are talking a 2mpg increase in fuel mileage.... with premium fuel in my area over $4/gallon it would take under 10K miles of driving to recoupe the price of this product.... the performance and fuel savings are bonus. I will likely be ordering one of these for my car.

Yep, I did the same math based on $3.70/gallon here and came up with 9000 miles for the intake to "pay for itself". Not bad when the filter is advertised as having 50000 mile service interval.

I will be ordering one of these for sure.

EDIT: Before anyone on the east coast gets their hopes up on spending less than $200, the shipping will put you up around $210. Still not a bad deal overall, just expensive to ship for whatever reason.

Well the drive to the office today was fun! It's just a perfect sound for me. Not to loud, they kept it classy so I can cruise with clients and it doesn't sound ridiculous. In normal driving conditions you can't hear it at all but when you WOT through 1st & 2nd and the start of 3rd it's a perfect, subtle whine. I couldn't hear it at all at freeway speeds. So far I love it. Thanks Eurocode!

Do you offer domestic USPS as well? $8.99 for a USPS medium flat rate box is much more palatable than $19.65 S&H (UPS) for a $59 air filter.

Will this filter fit on the AWE hose? I already have AWE full system which I paid only a little bit less than this system over a year ago but now you guys make me wish I had the Eurocode tube in there but wont spend 2x lol. If the filter fits I would like to use it on the AWE system.

the filter will fit the AWE setup, the stock setup doesnt have the filter connect direct to the tube, theres a middle coupling piece that the filter and tube connect to. the EC one works the same way with the factory components

I don't think you would gain anything by switching out the AWE filter for this one. They are almost identical...

Spend the money on a good bottle of scotch instead. My 2 cents :)

Only reason I purchased an intake is to make the supercharger whine very noticeable, i love the sound, which is why I went with Stratmosphere..

If this was equally loud or louder I would jump on this to add to my wonderful eurocode goodie collection :) Although the MPG increase is a huge plus, I might just switch anyway.

Congratulations to the EC team for a good product at a great price.

Ordered mine! Been waiting for the release.
The tipping point for me is the increase in mpg. Not even for the cost savings, just going to the pump less often.

Not to mention I'm impressed by Eurocode's quality and performance.

Remember guys, the improvement in mileage shown was the the best case scenario we found with our 2013 S5 and we were looking for overall improvement potential. Typically we were seeing about 340 miles per tank based upon a approximately 14 gallon fill up (when the light comes on in the 2013) after installation of the TRUFit Air Intake System we were able to stretch the fill up interval to around 380 miles when the light came on. These results are approximately 2-3 MPG. During this testing for performance were driving the car with the intention of getting good mileage, in the same manner as we were driving the car prior to the installation of the TAIS.

Everyone's results will vary depending on their driving style, performance modifications and type of environment they drive in.

Looks like a good product EC! If the stock intake system is that restrictive any efficiency increase would yield 'some' more MPG. We won't do a witch hunt if we all don't see an extra 40 miles! Have you dyno'd the cone filter with the stock intake tube? I'm wondering at what power level does the stock pipe become a restriction but it sounds like even on a stock car this is a good mod.

It's not a loud whine at all so if you're looking for loud, this isn't your ticket. It's quite soft & subtle.

Whereabouts in Philadelphia are you? Downtown, or suburbs?
For whatever it's worth, I'll bet you can handle this. Should be just a couple of easily-accessible hose clamps and possibly having to pull out the stock airbox to install the new filter (I'm just speculating). Probably an easier job than installing that intercooler guard to be honest.
If time allows, and depending where you are located, I would be willing to help you out. In fact I'm thinking about buying one of these too, so we could knock them both out in one day.

It should be super simple and if you do install it yourself the necessary torx driver is under your spare (and it has a handy extra long reach)..

Do you have any pics of this mod? Just curious...and wondering if I can do this on my own w/ a Dremel.

I'm in Montgomery Co PA and go to redline speed Worx. About 50 miles from me. They definitely know what they are doing and I would highly recommend them.

In 26,000 miles, I've broken 300 miles twice, both times on long highway trips. I don't have enough self control to drive for mileage.

And another big for Eurotech. Great guys.

I feel much better now. 8,000 miles and have yet to break 250 miles on a tank of gas.

I'm in the ne near Franklin mills mall, I'm pretty sure it's not hard putting an intake in,, (coming from a guy that did an engine swap and then turbocharged his 96 civic) I can help you put it in if you want, a tip would be enough when the jobs done,, no specific amount,, basically just trying to help out a fellow member here.. Let me know..
