Did you like them? Any issues? Someone here gave me the idea to change to them.

Well I changed at the time the stock rotors to the JHM and the pads to Hawk HPS. I did not like the combination. I felt I had less stopping power and overall did not have enough confidence. I can tell you that the diff between the Alcon set and what I had before is unbelievable ... but that is expected as many would say.

I was debating between Stoptech, AP racing and Brembo but someone gave me the idea of JHM rotors to reduce weight. I have read in posts that drilled rotors are too weak for our cars and they crack, and dimpled rotors are noisy (although I am not sure if I would even notice that so-called noise). How are your BBK's thus far? Have you noticed the noise?

Love the BBK. Stops and overall feels amazing. No noise that I can complain at all. Weight savings of the JHM rotors and the BBK rotors are very similar.

"The photographer gingerly lowered his D600 with the Nikkor 14-22mm wide zoom lens on the soft grass. The atmosphere was eerily quiet.

He approached the model slowly from behind. His eyes were fierce slits, his heart pounding madly and his breathes uenven.

The model was still resting her elbows on the wide bonnet of the supercharged Ibis White Audi S4. The body clinging dress waving in the gentle breeze.

Without turning her around he lifted her dress slowly, revealing a pair of long slender legs. The skin was a very light uniform cafe au lait with the sheen of dull satin.

The model maintained her posture. The gentle curve of her naked back clearly evident despite the cloudy skies. She showed no signs of resistance but one could sense her quickened breathes.

Her buttocks were round and taut, with the same light coffee coloured skin tone.

The photographer placed his hands on the small curve of her back and started caressing the firm buttocks. The model arched backwards with a hardly audible moan, further revealing the deep indentation between her back and her behind. He started pinching the flesh in slow, deliberate movements.

Trusting his instincts, with one deep breathe he forced her thighs apart and proceeded to......"

Do the brake pad sensors work with your BBK? I was told I couldn't use them if I have the AP racing BBK.

Nice and clean build ! Love its design~

Just wondering how long does it take to install the DEVAL carbon fiber front lip ? Since I'm pretty interested in it as well and I want to have some ideas about its labor cost

    Thank you ~

Deval install on the front lip was trivial ... it had 6 bolts that attach the lip to the bumper. The rear valence was trickier since you have to remove that pesky stock one which was pain in the **s.

Do you have a DIY on your emblem install? I am curious how you put them together and which s4 badge you started with as we'll as how it's clipped on your grill. How you did the +.

Ok so the "plate" on which the S4+ lays is the one from the RS4 Grille sold on ebay and MassDrop (long time ago). The plate is perfect since you can space out (OEM style) the S4 letter & number and the plus.

Now the actual plus sign comes already with a 3M tape so no issues there. Link to where to buy is HERE

As far as how the plate attaches to the grille ... it has a "build in" hooks but I broke mine so I ended super gluing it to the grille ... cleanly though ... you cant really see the glue etc. looks OEM (at least it does to me) :)

Got it. So you removed the rs4 letters and numbers and re applied using just s4 and adding +? How did you get it straight and spaced correctly? Did you eyeball it? Also, if you did this on the rear, did you just add the + next to the badge with existing double sided tape + comes with?

Yes and Yes. I positioned the plus first to see what will be the optimal layout ... then just remove the 3m tape on the + and apply. Piece of cake.

Yes. The tape is the same tape the Supercharged badges come with ... wont fall anytime soon ... mine is more than a year now on the car and I wash it every week religiously (as my wife would say)

Not yet ... but I noticed a difference on the drag strip and in the overall driving/handling of the car. Since I am total noob when it comes to racing/drag strip I try to take it slow and learn the little things first ... for example not to shallow stage but deep stage when you are @ the drag strip for better times etc. It only took me 2 times going to the track to realize I was doing it all wrong etc.

Plan is this winter to start the tracking when the weather here in FL is more friendly... now its 90F+ every freaking day.

But the BBK was the last piece I needed to start so I am looking forward to it.

I don't see the point of having the model sit on the ground an point to the badge. It doesn't do anything for me like the other photos do... i.e. mysterious, demure, artsy woman in background, accenting a shot of the car.

Since we're not showing the model's face, I thought it would be interesting if she was in the background, out of the focal depth as if she was approaching the car. For example, she might be walking up (in some pose) back towards that blue thing... at a point where she is twice as tall as the blue thing looks in the pic. There was another shot/angle that showed a road on a hill that I thought might have a similar effect.

Fun thread... as you can tell by my posts.

:) Good idea ... will try it on the next session ... you know its interesting when you see it from somebody else's eyes since I had few concepts/ideas I wanted to do with that particular session ... after few people see it ... it gets crazy in terms of how much more concepts/ideas it spawns ... I do like the approach/out of focal depth thingy ... will try it next time.

    Thank you.

I just placed the order for the Deval carbon fiber front lip.

I think I will just go with front part only. How long did it take for you to get it installed? An hour?

Yes if you have someone to help you. Doing it by yourself may take longer since its tricky to have everything aligned and properly positioned.

You would love the end result :) good luck and post a pic once finished with your install :)
