    Cool Test Pipe & Down Pipe Hp Gain???

    Just thinking if there is any performance gain going with the 3in test pipe to a 3in downpipe all the way back to some type of borla muffler???

    I'd say 25hp would be a good estimate.

    15hp - Test pipe
    10hp - Downpipe

    The tune would put you 50hp and 81Tq over stock. Other bolt ones will factor in..

    Damn thats pretty badass lol, i know what im doing this summer for sure, btw my 1.8t is bone stock im getting the test pipe and downpipe in a week or soo and if i get the stage 1 tune what else would i ned to upgrade??

    No real peak gains, it can change the curve of the power band and can even cause a loss in torque if just running ECU tuning that isn't custom tuned after they are installed.

    3" DP/TP are a bit big for a K03, that is the size you would use on a BT/BAT setup.

    TP+ tune is like getting a new car faster spool too not that the k03s spool is slow or anything.

    No unless the tune is for larger injectors, but most of the K03 tunes are for the stock injectors and stock FPR.

    Best to get the tune after so you can tell them you have a DP/TP, this way they can program the tune so that the wg stays closed longer. Less back pressure can allow more exhaust to flow thru the WG once it starts to crack since the path of resistance is lower there then it is going thru the turbine wheel.

    Wow.... Its people like you that make Audi owners comparable to a Honda owner. If you want real horse power gain... Sell the audi, but a Honda Prelude and put a cold air intake on it.

    Doing a search is quick but reading thru all of the threads takes way longer then it takes for 1 person to reply with the correct answer. The main problem with the search feature is you end up reading thru a bunch of threads with people telling people to do a search which just makes searching for something even worse.
