Any serious drawbacks to removing rear headrests from a cabriolet? Anyone got pics?

I wonder if it would affect your car insurance at all.

Hah mine were missing when i bought the car. The first rear passenger i had in the car complained right away.

Its damn hard to find used white/platinum headrest.
Does anyone know if B6 headrests fit B7?

thats a good looking cab, and it looks better w/o the headrests...gives the profile a sleeker look. Like mentioned keep them in the trunk in case.

Yeah they made it almost look like a 4-door and also almost entirely blocked the view out the rear windshield.

Me too. I considered removing them since the obstruct view a little with the top up, but I think it looks better when the top is down

I think it looks way better now and that maybe getting a windscreen will totally complete the look. Make it look closer to a 2-seater sports car than a 4-door family car.
They REALLY stand out in this pic.

I've tried, even watched a video that showed very little, but I can't get them off. I need them off to wire my backup camera anyway.
