Since many have asked about detailed information regarding this engine, I figured I would post this for everyone to have a good read on and possibly bring up further discussions regarding the S6/7/8 engines.

Hi all - Does anyone know if there is an updated version (which covers the RS6/RS7 version) of the above 4.0 Twin Turbo self study guide knocking around? I'm currently awaiting delivery of an RS6 Avant in December and I'd love to dig deeper into the technical aspects of the engine/car if possible - cheers.

Nothing found for the RS6/7 in the training website.

Yeah, it's only internal through the Audi Academy.

This is super cool but the reality hit me a bit that the same engine in A8 has more torque than our S6/7.

I wonder if there's an updated version of this document that includes the RS6/RS7 version...

So I can only assume with the RS6 and RS7 4.0T, the engine internals and reinforcements are probably more similar to the S8's 4.0T while the intake system are more like the S6/S7's for packaging reasons.
