For the time being, yes. I like the look of the peelers.

If anything I'll put spacers on F/R to fill the wheel wells better when I get to the springs.

Yep, 18" reps w/ Michelin PA4s for the winter season. Picked the wheel and tire set up from Discount Tire and had the dealership install this morning before I headed home (was ~10 degrees here this morning ).

If you haven't already gotten the sway bars, you should definitely get the Eurocode sways instead, with the Eurocode end links.

Good looking car, congrats. I was in the same boat as you with tint, I ended up doing 50% and I think it's perfect, 35% would have been too dark for my tastes.

I like the looks of 35% but not sure I want to deal with the hassle from the fuzz. The car I came out of had 35% and I think I got lucky for the last 2 years with no tickets/ warnings.

Patrick Bateman sent a photo of 50% on his monsoon grey, I like it and am going to go that route. I can always have it redone if it's not dark enough...

By tray I think you mean color? Damn auto correct! It's monsoon grey over black alcantara.

    Skeelo,
Very nice ride. I am picking mine up (ice silver) this week, and am new to the board.

Out of curiosity, what VAGCom tweaks have you made so far. I adjusted a 2010 A6 i had, but haven't ventured to much into the electronics since that car. I am starting with the intake (probably APR Stage 1), and trying to get my hands on some VMR 710 gunmetals do replace the stocks. Thanks in advance.

PB-couldn't get the down/up with key fob, do you still have the VCDS coding you used? The coding in the VAGCom thread didn't work.

Wow, that is quite the list PB. Can i find most of those codes somewhere on the site? Are people on here with Vag Com's pretty open to meeting up with forum members to change some of these codes? I would like to make some of those exact changes to mine as long as the codes are out there for the 2013. Thanks.

Think you still need to go into "Car" in your MMI and enable it there also. You can choose between just having the font windows go up and down, back, sunroof or all...

Indeed. We realized the MMI functions are available post VCDS coding, a day after the coding was reversed because we thought it didn't work...

    Mini update:

    - Swapped out the nonsensical "V6T" badges for their []Supercharged counter parts
    - Tint installed Wednesday 2/6 50% F/ 35% R - looks classy
    - Ordered OE Sport Springs from AWE for $259 + $13 shipping, cheapest I have found out there (thanks for the heads up Dropshadow)... and thanks AWE!

Obligatory horrible cellphone picture in the garage at the office:

    Latest update:

    - Intake installed!

My wife and son are out of town for the weekend which gave me a few free moments to wrench on the car. I spent the time installing the Injen intake I picked up from a buddy parting out his S4. Not sure about the claimed HP gains (perhaps the ECU needs to adapt?), but the supercharger is now nicely audible (easily modulated by the go fast pedal) and I swear the instant MPG is reading more favorable at 65-70 mph.

In any case, the install was very straight forward. Loosen a few clamps, remove stuff, put new stuff in and re-tighten in reverse order. There are two areas where I need to add some pipe insulation, or something similar, as the OE hoses contact the intake tube and a mounting point. In the interim I wrapped the areas of contact with a couple layers of black duct tape. I spray painted the aluminum filter guard flat black as I didn't like the way it looked in raw form and I also removed the Injen logo, the crinkle black pipe looks great by itself. Pictures below:

Installed, pre-spray painting the raw aluminum guard:

After five separate coats of Rustoleum high temp flat black spray paint:

    Latest Update:

Hoen color matched fogs installed. I followed this DIY and as noted, the install is fairly straight forward. I suggest using a small flat head screw driver to aid in unplugging the clip from the bulb base. I went for a quick ride post install and can't tell if there is any visible change in light output, aside from color, compared to stock. Overall I'm happy with how they came out and am happy I didn't go with Hoen endurance yellows.

Not the best photos given it's dark, I turned my LEDs up to 100% and I used my cell, but you get the idea:

Quick update post spring and sway bar install. A few things:

    - Ride height is perfect and overall ride quality is pretty much the same.
    - I noticed overall feel was tighter/ stiffer and steering slop was eliminated.
    - The car goes where you point it when you point it.

Additionally, the setup is wife approved. We don't take my car often as it's not as two dog and one year old friendly as her Druango, but on a recent day trip we put 300+/- miles on it and she didn't notice a thing.

    On to the photos...

    Immediately after install

After two weeks with summer wheels

Another week or so later after a quick detail

Unfortunately the car is back on its winter setup due to late season snow. I'll be switching back to my summer setup in a week or so...
