    Xenon headlight question b7

I got a steal deal on a set from craigslist. they guy said they came off a 2008 Audi s4

my concern is that one headlight uses the short ballast and the other long one. will that have any effect on the install ?

also it looks to me like the projectors are slightly turned and not straight ? I am guessing I can turn them once I put new bulbs in ?

haven't had time to take a real close look at everything but my mine concern right now is the ballasts and lining up of the projectors.

the part number is 8E0 941 004 AP is one part number I got of the headlights ..the other one didn't have any.

    RE: Xenon headlight question b7

Not sure if all HIDs do the turning bit...bit they might just need to be powered to auto align. Mine adjust everytime I turn them on.

    Xenon headlight question b7

One of the headlight is adaptive and the other one is not
If you upgrade from halogens, do not worry about the beam not being centered (as long as its just a bit off centered otherwise consider them broken internally), once installed on the car, you can adjust them with the upper Allen adjusters

Similar question fellas. Great deal on a set of adaptive xenons. I can retrofit to car with Halogens, right? Meaning it doesn't matter they are adaptive, does it? Thanks!!

Yes you can swap. Since you don't have the sensors on your chassis, you will adjust the beams manually and they will be fixed in that position.
