    Climate control swap

I was wondering if its possible or if someone tried to swap out their b7 climate control for a b8 one. I saw threads about older models and from my understanding it was plug and play, Would that be the same for me or is this gonna be a lot of work

    Climate control swap

Nothing really I like how the new one looks and prefer turning knobs as opposed to pushing buttons if its a lot of work I probably won't do it

Was going to say the same, it just looks too busy with the dash extended to the right like that. Only thing I like about B8s is they have that leg extension thing that BMW always did, and that might only be in prem models.

Even if our interior is from 2002, I still like it.

I got a B7 over a B8 because I like the older interior better. I hope Audi changes it up for the B9s.

    Climate control swap

The B8 you pictured is the lowest spec possible ..single zone, standard audio, no MMI etc. I'll agree it looks horrible, but not a good representation of a B8 interior.

True, it's the low-end B8 but that's the model I'd buy. Don't feel like shelling out the cash for the higher-end cars. I'll probably switch to a 2012 A6 in a few years; I like the improved fuel economy and larger size of the 2012 A6 with the 2.0T. Ultimately though I hope Audi brings us the diesel A8 soon! America is starting to look to diesel Audi! Lets go!

Yes, a lot of work :)

Even if it was physically the same, B8's and B6/B7's are world's apart on how systems communicate with one another. The climate control in the B8 is on the CAN bus.

Hmm on second though I really don;t like the b8 center stack. I like the IDEA of canting it towards the driver, but on second look, its really ugly. Plus it has a bit of a cheap look to it, that I don't like. Too many weird curves and angles.

    Climate control swap

This is the one out of the 2012 s4 I drove which made me think about doing the swap, I didn't realize it was that much difference between he 09's and the new ones

There isn't. If you have dual zone in an 09 it looks identical to that. The only change was in 2013.

Ahh I see, I notice now that previous picture was not a dual zone which makes all the difference looks wise in my opinion
