Vancouver is basically next beside its airport. It's like a 20 minute drive to the airport anywhere Vancouver proper. I took a guess and went down a side road near the cargo area where I knew there are Fedex planes. I just did not ever hoped to be THAT close to the plane. I was lucky and the plane was parked near the fence. I could have drove even closer as in right next to the plane. But a security jeep (for the airport co.) stopped me. I had the courtesy to ask the security guard in the jeep if I could go closer, and he said no, which was understandable. Maybe, I should have just ignored him, not ask him, and just pass him, take a few shots within 30 seconds before he does a choke hold on my neck.

The mountain pic was a chance picture near the same Fedex plane location. I saw the landscape and I thought... I needed some backside shots and voila... coincidentally, a great landscape background shot WITH the backside RS5.
