What about RAI's 3" DP? I know for a fact you can get it with a K04 flange on it, because they accidentally sent me one instead of one that would fit my K0R. Give Ray a call or shoot him an email for details.

So i had the RAI on the k03 loved it sold it due to cost to get the flange to fit it correctly was gonna be too much. Now that i see the problems im having shuda just done it. Cuz ill likely buy 1 new now and well i woulda prolly saved over $100 if i wuda paid for the flange install.

As for turbos keep looking. There will be something else between now and next year im sure. If JHM reads this ill be fist to buy a RS6-R turbo made to fit the 2.0t engine. Im guessing its a EFR of sum sort i just dunno what turbo it is, but i think that would be around the size of turbo i would like myself. Its no GTX but bigger then the k04!

If i pull the trigger on something else youll be first to know! Maybe a wedding gift (in your dreams!) but i would hang onto it for a bit for a fellow AZ CANUCK!

Got the new DV+ today, should have some review of it tomorrow or the day after at the latest

First impressions of the DV+ sucked

but after I gave it a week or so, then uninstalled it and re-installed it got much better. Still not worth the price tag I paid for it, but I am liking the mild difference it does have. Holding boost much better, car is feeling proper. I guess I can take the comfort in knowing this won't leak pressure like the piston Rev D was/can

The exhaust tips are such an easy thing, but have a huge impact on the back end of these cars. Surprised not alot of people haven't done it already.


Update: S4 DTM rear bumper being picked up in a few days! Should hopefully have it on soon. Looks like I may have to put on some new tips. Not sure how these 4" will hold up against a dual valence

I'm in the midst of working something out with B7Joe. He has a pair of 3.5" tips the same make as the 4" tips I currently have on there. They're angled tips. If he finds them he said I can have them. So I was thinking of putting those on and hopefully make it work. I reckon if I stagger the tips a bit, might not notice the size difference, we'll see.

the "4" tips I have on there now are actually 3 5/8, so the 3.5" might fool the eye.

The crash bar is useless once you put a FMIC on your car and it weighs like 15 pounds. It is there to protect the radiator and AC condenser during low speed collisions. But when you stick an FMIC on the front of your car, the FMIC will be crushed into those things during any collision that could hurt the bumper anyway. I say throw it out.

Also, the crash bar supports are 14 pounds too. I just cut mine up last night and started fabricating aluminum replacements. Together that is about 30 pounds, or approximately the same weight savings as installing an aluminum RS4 hood, but at almost zero cost :)

Yup! It will be a full kit as well. Drop in turbo kit, tuning, fueling, etc..
