That's exactly the reason why you should have 2 compressors. In case one fails, you have the second as back up - they both fire up when necessary at all times. It won't go into a safe ride height; it will just take longer for the one compressor to fill up the tank. If you know a compressor has failed you might as well air it up to the higher setting to be safe.
Settings are very accurate, E-level maintains your ride height according to the settings you have adjusted the height sensors at. There are 3 pre-sets you can customize on the touch pad. E-level keeps your height leveled on all 4 corners always in comparison to other sensors that are pressure based and don't level automatically.
Yes, you need to secure the compressors; manifold and ECU so you need screw in self tapping screws. You also need to make a hole to run your air lines and sensors form the trunk to all corners. Sounds more complicated than it really is; it's a pretty straight forward installation.
Use the radiator's plastic frame to hold the back end of the metal railing and screw a small self tapping screw to the front bumper so it's secured. You'll be able to slide it in and out easily. If you get under the front of the car, take out that plastic bottom panel covering the front section, you'll see a clearer picture.
