***Getting some 90mm tips made for the stock exhaust at a local shop this weekend :

You're right; though I actually might do it myself since I like DIYs. I got some headlight film on the way. I'll post some pictures later.

I did it to my RSX's reverse lights so it shouldn't be too bad.

Nice, looks much better. Amazing what a little film can do.

Once you see the deletes covering the amber you're next wish will be for e-codes

I'm thinking on taking the headlight apart with a heat gun and applying the film on the side markers instead. Anyone know if the S5 headlights can be opened with a heat gun? Or are they glued with epoxy?

***I keep reading the A5/S5 headlights are held with epoxy Oh well... I'll just put the vinyl on top.

    ^^Thanks Scott!

Took a picture of the 3.5" tips I got made. I'm waiting on a replacement bulb from DDM. Never dealt with such bad products, if you're contemplating buying stuff from them I would think twice.

What kind of location are you looking for? City/back roads/tunnel though I'm lore familiar with MD/DC than VA

Is there a way to turn off TPMS while running aftermarket wheels then turn it back on when putting the stocks back on?

Not sure why you posted this question here, but... no, the TPMS warning cannot be turned off - at least it can't be turned off through the MMI or using VCDS. For clarity - I assume you're talking about the direct measurement TPMS that uses sensors in the valve stems, and you are not planning to install the special stems in your after-market wheels, correct?

I just didn't want to create a whole new thread.

Yea you're right the valve stem sensors. I'm not planning on getting sensors for my after market wheels. So I'm assuming there will be a message being displayed on the dash when I mount them.

Would there be a problem once I put my stock wheels back on? Or the TPMS would automatically recognize the sensors once they're back on?

Car looks amazing with all the mods you've done so far! Which wheels are you planning to get? Coming from the makers of KW suspension systems the only main difference between the ST Variant 1 and KW Variant 1 is the steel they use. While KW uses Stainless Steel for their shock housing, ST uses Galvanized Steel. However, this does not mean a drop in quality, durability, or appearance. Although coilovers that use galvanized steel are more prone to corrosion due to environmental influences (i.e. mixture of salt water); those in the lower states: California, Texas, Florida, Nevada, etc. don't have to worry about corrosion. Those in the mid to upper States that snow still don't have much to worry about as long as they do not drive in heavy snow conditions upon where salt is used on roads. to further ensure those with doubt about Galvanized Steel, ST has corrosion resistant zinc plating on all of their threaded strut housings for further protection.

No problem at all. The system may take a few minutes of driving before it recognizes the sensors are back, and you may have to recalibrate the TPMS in the MMI.

I'm waiting for incurve's S10, will get 20x10.5 all around most likely. In regards to ST, if I was to get them I could rust protect them with a coat of a product (I forgot the name of it). Maybe I'll go this route.

I hated having to stare at the TPMS light on my old car since I had my after marker 80% of the year. I wouldn't mind picking up a used set of TPMS to avoid it this time around.

Do they have to be S5 specific?

Knowing Audi, they probably cross share those TPMS sensors between all B8 if not even with other Audi/VWs.

True, just did a quick search on eBay. Found a set of used ones for $60. But gonna wait till I get the wheels.

Btw, text me when you're free to try to get rid of the service message please.

I've bought the Show-and-Go license plate bracket, but there's not enough space between the edge of the front bumper and the intercooler.

I'm just wondering how did you get yours installed?

I have mine on an angle down so that it slides under, then used a bent piece of metal to screw it on the car.

Damn, looks good! Not sure I have seen the S5 that low on oem's. I would raise the rear or lower the front a bit if it were mine. @bknewtype

I could go lower up front, but would have to remove one of the rings haha
We'll see what it looks like when the wheels get here, I'm hoping to be tucking some tire.

I do have to say, the ride is awesome compared to my RSX on coilovers rolled all the ay down. It feels a little bumpier than stock but other than that, I'm really happy.

Man I bet you can't wait to get those new wheels in. I've only ever seen guys post pics of spacer/offset wheels with the drop, not unspaced with the drop. Being from a slightly more rural area of MD, it reminds me a bit of the "muffin top" residents. haha. But I may go against the grain here. Alot of guys really like the raked look, and it's not that I don't, but I also like the even look dropped look as well.

Where are you at in MD?

I don't mind the no flush look for now, and I actually have a set of 25mm and 15mm spacers at home... just too lazy to put them on. Will be up for sale once I get the wheels.

    I'm located near Rockville, MD.
