    How do you guys bore out your MB rotors for the Porsche calipers?

    I got a buddy with a drill press

    looking to bore out the center and lug holes
    Old: 1.8T Stg 3, Noggy stg 3, Silvaro tag 3 B5 |JHM Trans W/Carbon Syncros 4:1 diff|Tial 770|I.E Rods|Built 2.8 Heads W/ supertech RS4 intake, Y pipe, manifold etc...
    Current: 2013 TTRS Nimbus grey| HRE FF01| 034 RSB w/endlinks| 034 CF intake| 034 dogbone mount & CNC shifter bushings| Miltek DP custom 3in exhaust| Autotech HPFP| AEM 3-1 gauge|Schroth racing belts| S3 shifter| Revised injectors| Ceramic coated/ PPF

    I just used a drill bit and a flap sander wheel

    How do you guys bore out your MB rotors for the Porsche calipers?

    The lug holes shouldn't be any different. The bore is though.

    I just used a sander l.

    The lug holes are different. VW/Audi bolts are 12mm and MB are 14mm. I used a Uni-Bit as it gives you a perfect hole. For the center I used a flapper wheel on my die-grinder. You can also use a Dremel as well.

    Woops, yea. lol The MB bolt holes are 12mm and the VW/Audi are 14mm which is the reason you need to bore them out. The Uni-Bit worked perfectly and is a super handy tool the have around anyways.

    You only need to rework the bolt holes for 17Z calipers that use the smaller rotors. ML55 rotors for 18Z calipers are already the correct size. The hub on both need about 30 seconds with a flapper.

    Thanks for the help guys, what size/grit flapper wheel?

    I wish it was possible to run ML55 rotors with my 17z
