    Milltek Non Res Exhaust

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Looking for some advice.

I am considering getting the Milltek exhaust with non res downipes, will this setup be too loud for a daily driver.

I use my car for work and although I am not against a loud exhaust I don't want it to be obnoxious.

    Thanks

Milltek res is a very docile exhaust. the non-res opens it up more. you will get a little drone with any of the non-res system. resonated sound is moderate compared to some of the others. a good sound, but not obnoxious. i would res if you don't want to stick out.

I have the non-res and from outside the car it is very loud, however, inside it is not very loud at all. I find myself now wanting louder exhaust. The drone is very little and only occurs above cruising speeds above about 65. It is nothing the radio cant cover up. I would say go for the non-res.

I have the non-res and think it's just right. I wouldn't want it any quieter.

Agree with all the replies. I actually want louder and deeper sound. How much deeper of a note you think we can get with headers?

is your car manual or S-Tronic? I think the non-res sounds perfect on the manual cars. Res is my preference on auto.

I vote for Non res. I love it. And it takes a different tone depending on your driving. If you drive like you stole the car one day and drive it like an old man the next there will be a difference in idle sound each day. Its great. If I drive aggressively for a day and pull backwards into garage spot the growl is significantly louder than if I drove it normal on my commute.
