Well that just motivated my a$$ to get going on my project. Have an office-full of suspension and chassis components waiting to be installed but like a pu$$y I've been waiting for warmer weather...

I'm sure you are aware of this, but the 750CC (@ 3bar) EV14 style injectors seem to be the standard upgrade around here. What injectors are you going with?

Everything he does is against the grain, might as well be against the grain with his injectors too! lol

Sucks you couldnt use the 1600cc ones you had, resistor packs can really hurt reliability and driveability
RIP Daz, you will be missed.

Anyone ever have a bad ECU be the cause of bad MAP sensor?
i.e. the sensor is fine but the ecu input for the map is bad?

I think that's my map sensor problem...

    Wiring is fine.
5V at sensor plug between pin 1 and 3. And Continuity from Pin 4 to pin 101 of the ECU...

    CEL for map sensor.
Requested boost is identical to absolute boost.
    Tried 3 diff sensors. :/

So it seems like my MAP sensor issues are probably just because of its location... haha silly me.

Oh and I forgot to add that I installed the 725CC injectors yesterday.
At the 4bar (58psi) that I am running them they are equivalent to 840CC.

Car is retuned for them for the most part, need to put on hold though until I get back from Montreal.

I have the AGP Zeta 3.0 Ball Bearing turbo on my ACR srt. Nice turbos!! Seems to spin for days after shut down. Love that you are going to be using one of these in a B5.

Did you have the MAP sensor post throttle body? Also, you really do want the wastegate reference to be pre-throttle body.

Yes. I had the MAP sensor post throttle body... I didn't think the ecu would freak out from seeing vacuum... I guess I was wrong haha :-)
As far as boost reference for waste gate I have always run off the intake manifold on every build I do.
It shouldn't make any difference because even with the map pure throttle body.
If I have any issues with it I'll plumb it per throttle body but it's unlikely to be needed.
Darn those Bosch engineers for checking for vacuum lol.

It does make a difference, and some people have had issues before on these cars setting up the WG vaccuum line post throttle body. Just trying to help you out.

    Thanks for the heads up.
I'll probably move it anyway given how sensitive it was to the map sensor placement lol.
Given that the map has to be before the TB is does make sense that it would want the vacuum for WG in the same place too.

    Cheers :-)

Well I can do 450 - 500 whp with what I have now... so there would be no point doing the new build if it wasn't over 700whp ;-)
And she had better run 10's then lol.

    But we shall see.
The boys at INA and I may be doing some things never seen before on the 2.7
And I could do an rs4 but we decided there's no point ;-)
