How long did you have them on? I think I'm at about 2 years.

I'm 7 months in and look new...but think that is due to the uv protection (krylon) I put on. I think I'll pop them out next time the bumper is off and apply a few more coats.

I must have overlooked that. But it was the Spectre that was removed, and replaced with the Fujita. And it performed well in the recent Colorado tsunami/rain storm we just had. And just check eBay or Amazon.

I did after you told me about it, amazon didn't have it. I found one on ebya but didn't buy that cause I found a cheaper one on sickcaraccesories dot com which turned out to be a scam, then my car went under the knife and completely forgot about it. I need to buy one though specially since I have a new MAF sensor, i don't need any oil touching it.

I'm gonna age myself here but I got my ride in 1993 in an F-111E in USAFE (Upper Heyford) for winning Fastest ICT in USAFE during 1993 Gallant Warrior with the 77th TFS. I puked my guts out but it was awesome. After my enlistment did 2 years doing Depot-level maintenance on F-15's at Lockheed-Martin and then jumped careers into what I do now.

I do yard work in my bunny suit....... But that pic was taken while I was a instructor at Sheppard. I think that bird crashed in a Georgia swamp before they gave it to us. And I got to Cannon AFB just a little after the F-111's left. Those things can move!!!! And their dump&burns look awesome!!!

I missed Cannon AFB by the skin of my teeth!! I kept extending at RAF Upper Heyford, UK to avoid going there. Two of my closest friends from the USAF ended up going there and told me to avoid it at all costs because there was nothing to do. Strangely, one of them still lives in Clovis and works at the base library now!!

Yeah, I was shocked when I got my ride and we were pulling 6.5G consistently in that pig. Still to this day, the F-111 low altitude speeds are tough to match. It was before its time that is for sure.

This was my jet after I had it (68-050). When it left UH it was cammo green. I like the nightfighter grey so much better. It was one of the first to get the AMP upgrade because it had a LOX bottle explosion in the 80's.

Sadly all of my pictures are film, someday I will scan them all in.

I'm fairly certain those are Australian F-111's doing dump and burns, I think the photo is a long shutter time though. They hit the fuel dump switch and there is a nozzle in the back of the aircraft that sprays jet fuel (for dumping fuel). They dump and then they hit the afterburner and the fuel ignites and makes a fire trail. It's way more cool in person.

camato is pretty much on the spot. The Aussie's are a lot looser in their Air Show regulations than the USAF, so they continued to perform the display.
