Lol, I said look into it. It's basically a liquid that bonds t o your clear coat and repels absolutely everything that comes at it, tk include wax. It'll stay shiny (not as shiny as a really good wax) but you won't have to keep cleaning it frequently, especially for snow.

I know I did but I was lazy and didnt do much research, looks good. I picked up some nice wax last month but I have to wait until paint is ready which will be around a month and a half.

Axles get you a little more familiar with the suspension. I've done a few on my car due to cheap aftermarket axles and probably having my car too low without adjustable control arms. I would suggest just buying new bolts for the axle. The axle bolt that goes through the spindle is one time use so you need a new one anyways. I stripped one of the M10 bolts that bolt to the axle flange on the transmission so I think for the price of the 6 bolts it's worth it. One thing about changing the axle too is if you leave the car on the ground it makes for hard angles at the flange bolts. I found it easy to just leave the opposite side semi-jacked so when I want to spin the axle for a better angle you can just lift the other wheel off the ground and spin the axle freely. Someone else might have a different way to do it but that worked for me.

thats the plan so far, new bolts and axels I did both side and all control arms and linkages when I had a B5 so I am not worried, I love getting the hands dirty I was just disappointed because I was on a roll of everything going smoothly haha oh well. I also wanna take a look at rear sway bars but thats later

So I picked up a s4 rear sway bar yesterday to get rid of my non sport 16mm one, paid 39.99 for it with bushings and everything, the car it came off had low miles and was in the salvage yard due to an engine fire so no damage was done. Today I sanded it down along with the clips and gave them a fresh coat of paint. I know it seems silly to paint something you will never see but I always like to give parts a fresh look. I painted the clips black and the bar red. here are some pictures of it as well as it compared to the non sport one.

I think I will be happy with the improvement.

get wide blue painters tape to put under it with no seams, if you have seams under the suede you will see it, also use good adhesive for it to stick and not fall apart in the warm summers

So the car was down but not out, Fuel pump went out, gave it a couple hits but no luck on getting her home from town so she spent the night on the side of a side street until we got her towed home, ( thank god for knowing the tow guy and he giving us a deal on getting it home the 9-10 miles it is.)

So this morning heres it coming home: the companies flat bed is in for repairs so this did the trick

    Old fuel pump:

    New one going in:

Then I took my fuel filter out and cleaned it while my new one is getting shipped here: Yucky, to my surprise though it was not original so it has been replaced

How many miles on the OE fuel pump? I'm considering replacing mine before it leaves me stranded somewhere.

if it was the original it would have 170k on it. I put a used OEM one from a 02 that had 80k, its a really easy swap out so it went fast

So I picked up a s4 front end the other week, No more usp for this guy, I got a good deal on it with the fog lights and fog light grilles.

here is it when I was finished installing it, its really dirty and needs to be buffed.

the other day I went back and got the lower grille which doesnt have the chrome surround but I wanted it instead of having a hole in the middle, got it for $25

Then this morning I picked up a upper S4 grille as well for $45 from a salvage yard in Wisconsin, so I made the road trip and went and got it, I then plasti dipped the chrome surround and installed it:

from a distance the upper and lower look to be complete which is nice, next on the list is a car was and then a good buff and wax

My other bumper is now ready to go to a new home.
