I'm actually not sure if they are the same at the 034 ones. I initially though he was supplying his own but i really have no idea.
they look the same as the 034 ones but from their pictures, but the pictures they have look like all studs hah
I've only had these on for about 2 or so months + a couple snow and rain storms and no sights of rust yet, but I'll make sure to mention it if they start to.

So I was having a little vibration with the new brakes and figured it might be the rotors so I had them turned, cost me around 15 dollars per rotor and this is after I picked up the rotors from getting turned, they look new and feel brand new, no more vibration or pulsing. God I love these HP2's now. Well worth the money and there is no sight in pulsing or vibration

I also got bored today and started to make my homemade center grille for my ultra sport bumper using my stock center grille and a DIY I found online. Here is just the beginning with fusing the botom halfs together with some plastic weld and now its time for some fitments test. it will be awhile until its finished but its a work is progress

    Making the grille wider

It really looks good and will look almost identical to the stock one you would buy from the store

Thanks, it will take some time but Ill just keep plugging away a little at a time and make it look really nice. I also found metal mesh that looks identical to my upper and fog light grilles and its free so its way better then spending 80 bucks on that LLK stuff

    hey, hint on the grill.

tuck something up into the lips of the grille and epoxy it in place as well. its pretty brittle with out some kind of support.

i used a piece of aluminum flat stock, but even that started to split.

Picked up some slightly used Yokohama Advan a13c tires for my usp wheels, next on the list is to clean them up and get them mounted along with cleaning up the Avus wheels and putting them up for sale.

Started to refinsh my wheels and fix the two that had a little rash on them, One I could just sand everything out where the other needed some filler which isnt bad. Here are some i-Phone pictures of one of the wheels.

3 coats primer, 4 coats hyper silver, 3 coats clear, then wet sanded and wiped down.

How they started. this is one of the two best ones:

    finished with the primer:

Finished with the silver and before the clear:

All finished: clear and wet sanded: I think they came out amazing, cant wait to get them on

Here are a couple pictures of the one that needed filler. just waiting for it to dry to start sanding:

I'm in the process of doing the same thing to some different wheels. Which silver paint did you go with? I see you have dupli-color can in the picture. The finished product looks pretty good.

I just went with the dupli color silver, the dulpi color you see in the picture is the filler primer that I used. I need to get better pictures of them when I finish all four. the clear coat really helps with how good they look. I just finished sanding the filler, just need to prime and then fill again and sand. All the wheels will look great with no rash what so ever.

Yea, I'm fixing some curb rash as well. I was afraid the Dupli-Color wouldn't look as oem so I went ahead and ordered the Wurth silver wheel paint and high gloss clear coat.

update on the wheels, finished all four of them and they are now stored in my basement until I get some new rubber on them. The pictures I have here are from the one that had all the rash on it and I filled. I think it came out great and you can not notice it. I am very happy and cant wait to get these babies on.

A little more filler and sanding from the first day.

here is the area when it was all sanded and then primed.

First couple coats of hyper silver, look how rough it looks without clear and wet sanding.

Clear coat on and wet sanded, all done

    Re: MNAudi101's Build/Journal thread

Did you just hand sand them? I've got some s4 wheels that need a refurb in the summer. Two area quite bad, but the other 3 aren't too bad so just wondering how much sanding to give them. I might take the two bad ones almost back to metal as some of the kerbing is pretty nasty.

Good job on your wheels though, they really do look new. Can't wait to see them on.

Thanks man I cant wait to get them on too for painting and sanding here is what I did,

two of the wheels were good so I just used 1500 grit sand paper and went over both of them, then primer 3 coats then 4 coats silver and another 3 coats clear and then wet sanded with 1500 grit. One wheel had a couple dings that werent too deep so I was able to use 800 then 1500 grit sand paper and get it all out and smooth then repeated the painting step above. For the last wheel that had the large deep gash I sanded the whole wheel with 1500 grit and then used filler and filled the gouge, once dry I used 800 grit and smoothed it out and then went to 1500 and finished it up, for painting I primed and then sanded and primed and sanded and primed and sanded then 3 coats primer ect, ect. I was using filler primer on all the wheels so that helped as well

Good job on the rims, I really like how they turn out. I just picked up a pair of Tt wheels too and I'm redoing them because the person that had them painted black and it's chipping. What kind of sand paper did u use and primer?

sand paper was just the standard wet sand paper you can pick up at ace hardware and other stores and it was dupli color filler primer. make sure you get the filler one

You're welcone. He'll yeah that would be awesome! Yeah my buddy told me about Cars and Coffee about six months ago, I just never remember to find out when they are. I'm not on MNAudi yet, but I'll be getting on there soon. Is your screen name here as the same on MNAudi?

Edit- I am on MNAudi just forgot that I was lol. My SN is the same.

On MNAudi my screen name is Audi101

Today I test fitted the best center cap I had to see if I wanted to paint to match instead of having it look like brushed steel. I decided that I like the contrast and will be putting an order into ECS for 3 more.

So took some pictures of what came in my ECS package:

As you can see on the table I got new center caps for my new wheels

And then I got this for a coolant flush in the spring when the weather gets warm.

Along with that I got a new cap and then clips
