they were originally made to hold lighting up in a garage but I modified them a little to have them fit and be hidden. I will go take a up close picture and show you

So a little update:
So I started college a couple weeks ago so the build is slowing down. After the first week I came out to my car only to find that there was some hard winds in st. paul where I go to school and had a branch fall on the windshield and crack it. I am happy though it was just the windshield and nothing else major.




Came home this week to pick my car up from getting a new windshield put in. Thank you insurance haha




I also ordered this for my upper grille to match the lowers. Hopefully it will show up soon.

Bummer on the windshield. Reasons like that are why we have insurance, so no biggy. Car looks good.

That grille looks good too, but I believe it's probably plastic honeycomb which will be a little different than the custom lowers you made. We shall see.

How bout them close up pictures of the lower custom grilles? I think I'm about to order some fogs from an AZ member, so I'll be starting on them grilles pretty soon.

So a couple days ago my new grille came in but I had no time to put it in until this morning. I really like how it turned out. I am going to wash the car today and then Ill take some nice pictures of it to get a better look at it.

Yeah at first I thought it was smaller but once snapped in it fit really well. I really like the style and it came out great and today I will take pictures of the grille and send them to you.

Car looks amazing! My gf has a DG Avant that I have recently started working on. I have sport springs/shocks/rear sway bar to install and a set of 18" Rota formula (ill keep the color a secret until I post pics lol). Wanna come down to Missouri and fix me up with a USP front bumper :) haha!

Thanks man and I have a set of coilovers in my eyes for the near future, probably in the spring though. And I am looking at some BLQ's for some new wheels. and its easy to do haha

So since I sold a motorcycle that I was working on as a project I had some extra cash and picked up some Eibach Pro springs and today I started to swap them out before it gets way to cold to do any work.

Yeah I couldnt pass up on the price, maybe in the future I will get some coilovers but these will work right now. I also am looking for some B5 RS4 type wheels then ill be set for a while before I decide to get the car re painted

no nothing wrong with it just want to pop out the door dings and I a dime size area where its starting to bubble also a couple little scratches. and I want to get my lowers painted.

I got the quote for paint and always check the area, nothing major at all also its a dime size area so i have some time

Yeah...there was a thread about this a couple days ago...and I did a semi-diy for roof rust repair...but I had two dime/quarter sized areas on my door frames (upper) and when I took the paint off and took care of the rust, it turned out to be 2-3 times worse than what you could see before starting. Just a heads up.

So got the rear in and having it settle. I am taking a lunch break before I start the fronts.

So I finished up everything for my suspension and got everything back on and now for some pictures. I cant be more happy with how they turned out. It has settled more now since the pictures were taken





Next on the list is to fix this before winter and before it gets worse, and maybe look into some spacers

Started to re-finish my Avus wheels before winter and having a hard time to decide if I want to sell or not. the white made me fall in love again with these wheels and now putting them back to silver makes me fall deeper for some reason. -

What if you could accent the white with the stock...? Maybe just the spokes one color, then the rim and those little pookas and the center cap the other color.
