another noob question / interior light job

So I tried to send someone a private message, twice. lol. Never confirmed that it sent. Doesnt say I have any sent messages. Is there something wrong? Or did I just ask someone a question twice in a private message?

Anyways. If the guy that did all the interior mods to his first car, the silver S4 from Canada, is reading this or has checked him couple of private message from me, IM ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT waiting for a response! LOL. I need a write up brother.

im not Mr. Canada but i did this mod a month ago with my gf. she did most of it actually, she enjoys learning how to do stuff on my car with me, painting rims, brake fluid flush, coilover install and now the lighting. Bro its super easy, all u need is a butter knife and small screwdriver, all the lenses pop out super easy, just take your time and dont force anything, took her about 20 minutes with some very close supervision.

can you come supervise me? lol. i just dont wana break anything on my baby. but ok. hey can u tell me which bulbs go where. did u use the parts list from dude or jus do it similar? any help is helpful. im planning on tackling this very soon

go slow and be careful and nothing will break. the bulbs are self explanitory, every bulb fits in its spot exact just like oem. if the fitment seems funny then its wrong and u need to try anothert bulb. i would be more helpful but my car is 9 hrs away and i wont be home until sept 1st. just go slow, you will be fine.

thats what she said. lol. but thank you. i kinda understand. i will be able to tell which fits where. i guess i just mean which are the four that are the two dome and two individual ones for the interior main four. im not doing the plates and vanity mirrors nor the trunk or glovebox. just want to do the main four. im ordering blue but want to have a set of red as well. cuz my S4 is blue with red accents. but thank u. much lov. cali S4 style

Replacing the interior lights is extremely easy. I'm in the process of doing it myself.

The replace the dome lights, get a (clean) butter knife and wedge it between the "glass" and the sunroof controls. Slowly work your way around until you have popped off the "glass." Self explanatory after that.

To replace the vanity lights, use a butter knife and wedge it between the "glass" and the headliner. It has to be on the side of the light that has a little indentation. On my car, I wedged the knife on the right side for the right light and left side for the left side.

It's not that hard...

gotcha. jus overthinkn it. thanks yall. cars in the shop now anyways cuz i bought it with 100,000 for a good price so im just doing all the preventative maintenance stuff at once and then ima do some fun stuff when i get it back cuz itll be ready to roll
