Anyone here have the specs for a proper fog light aim?

Seems the beam pattern for the foglights is a bit off and i would like to adjust them to factory specs.

    Thanks.

I aimed mine as high as they go since I am lowered an inch. The light still doesn't go out as far as I would like at the highest point.

What did you do to aim them higher? When I switched mine out, wasn't trying to aim, but didn't notice a way to change it? Thanks.

Take a look here http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2772389 in the 5th picture at 7 o'clock you see a black piece where you can stick a flathead/phillips screwdriver in there and turn. Can't remember which way rises or lowers but you can test it out.

there is a screw by the foglight housing to adjust the height/level however i cannot find anywhere what they should be set to. not only is one higher than the other but now that i am lowered i would like to adjust them better.

turn to the right to raise turn to the left to lower. the tighter you make the screw the higher the beam goes and vice versa.

I'll have to try this. Thank you iconoclast.

For others trying to set to oem spec, the worm gear adjusters has paint on the gears itself to help to find the oem setting. However, I found that after multiple turns of the adjuster screw in the same direction, you can actually align those paint marks a few times in succession.

The intended light beam angle is 2% (vs the 1% on our headlamps). So if the wall you're aiming at is 100 inches away, the beam center on the wall should be 2 inches below the height of the lamp centers.
Lots of prereqs listed for a correct angle, like for the headlamps. 165 lbs in the driver's seat, headlamps on low not auto, full fuel tank, parking brake not on.
