I got so excited when I saw this thread that I completely forgot my car is FWD and this could be an issue, I'm waiting for an answer from Dan.
As a side note I've always thought about converting my car to AWD.

I know Vizi had the pricing for his and it wasnt that expensive if you find a rear subframe/gas tank from a quattro. I think he figured out the gas gauge too.

I remember his thread and that's when I started thinking about it. It would take some effort, but I'm sure it's doable, probably the hardest thing to do is to find the parts at a decent price, have access to a lift would help and I remember him saying that the actual job if you have everything is not difficult(4 on a scale to 10).

I honestly think not using a lift would be easier unless you have a very nice tranny jack with attachments. I dropped my subframe while my car was on the hoist and the whole car started tipping forward off the hoist, and then I ratchet strapped the rear end (on the tow hook) to a truck (had a few lying around ) and then lifting the subframe back up to bolt it up was no walk in the park. It is HEAVY!

But if you like your car, and you build the engine, I dont see why you would swap it out. Make sure you update the insurance company though because they will not want to pay the difference between FWD and Quattro if you get in an accident.

Well, all these are only ideas at this point. First I have to see what deal I get from RAI for this job including drop in rods + pistons and go from there.

Rai, we gonna have a final price on this? We have talked through messaging about doing this before you came out with this red label kit.

Could this still be used with a stock built motor? Or would we have to upgraded certain items>

It's very close to being released.

You can run this kit on a stock engine and low boost.

Okay. And at low boost, the car should respond well and still be stronger than say other turbo upgrades like ko4/kor

correct. On a stock engine setup, we'd recommend a .64 A/R turbine, which actually achieves peak torque earlier than the stock K03, on our testing we did with a Mk5 FSI.

So you will have a powerband VERY similar to your stock turbo setup, but capable of 300awhp on low boost

and whenever you want you can build your motor and shoot for the stars!

plus the option of swapping the turbine is... pretty dope. i'm looking forward to having both turbines and tunes, so i can swap as i wish :-) track day for example, or if i get bored and want to change the dynamic of the car

Unitronic, a cat back exhaust, and Carbonio intake.

remember, this is FWD and on a dyno. You spool faster on the street then the dyno. its all about loading and dynamics

nothing can simulate the same load that you get on the road. end of story.

Mustang is just the best dyno at getting close.

Dan, can you pm the price this kit is going to sell for? I actually need a price for the turbo only since I already have the RS4 injectors and Maestro. I need to make a decision if I install the K0R I have or not. And when it will be available? I understand you want somebody with a quattro MT for testing fitment.

Mentioned that I was interested in this to Cannon on Saturday (Ray was out). Please let me know pricing and options. I was planning on a GTX28 kit over the next few months, but if I can get a great deal, and maybe leave out a couple of items for now, then I might want to go this route to save in the long run.
