    Dust inside the instrument cluster

    Looking for any ideas or if anyone has the same issue that pokes at their OCD. I've always seen this on all of my Audis. Suggestions to get it out?

    Thanks.

    @Rirruto - annoying isn't it? I use a can of compressed air, the kind they sell at Best Buy for computers. Attach the straw like extention onto the can and spray around the edges of the panel. It won't get rid of all the dust but it'll make it look better.

    Yeah, it drives me nuts. I'll try that. I really want to figure out a way to get it out of there.

    @Rirruto - No, that's why I didn't suggest it.

    I'm thinking about just getting rid of the clear plastic shield altogether. That way I can always clean it. Thoughts?

    You know you don't have to say '@user' when you quote them? By using the quote feature, we know who you're talking to.

    Sounds like a terrible and very ghetto idea.

    Thanks for the tip, I wasn't aware of that but I wasn't considering it either. My reason for doing it is to personalize the comment; like using someone's name during a conversation.

    I've taken mine apart to clean dust out and it's not too bad, but not super easy either. the hardest part it getting the cluster around the steering wheel. Here's a DIY on removing it.

    I had to remove my cluster to clean the inside of the plastic. It's easy.
