    Hartmann wheels in GTA

I am looking to get a set of Hartmann 256-MM preferably from a shop here in the GTA. I did a search on the Canadian forum and come across this list of distributors that would carry Hartmann wheels. How accurate is this list now? The post was from 2010. Do these shops still carry Hartmann's?

    Independent Tuning in Toronto 416-628-1483

    Pfaff Tuning in Vaughan 905-907-1001

    Strasse Inc in Montreal 514-384-8330

    RPI Equipped in Richmond 604 944 0494

    PG Performance in Surrey 604-585-8558

I also read a comment that it would be cheaper to buy the wheels from Achtuning, then they would ship them over to Tirerack, get some tires from there and then Tirerack would ship to Toronto.

Has anyone done this? I am trying to decide which shop actually carries Hartmann wheels and which option would be more cost effective: 1. get everything (wheels + tires) from a shop in the GTA or 2. buy the wheels from Achtuning in the States, then the tires from Tirerack and then have everything shipped up here to Toronto.

Any insight and price estimates would be greatly appreciated. I am estimating the cost to come in around $2500. Is this too low, can I get lower?

    Thanks,

We haven't heard from Strasse in a while however the other dealers you listed are quite active. That list of Canadian dealers is a bit outdated, there are some other dealers that should be added as well:
    Simply Tire in Toronto 416-916-9233
    Tuner Works in Calgary 403-398-9833

We have a program where you can ship tires to us from Tire Rack and we can ship the package to you via FedEx. Shipping for a W+T package to east coast Canada is typically around $350 with additional brokerage and/or duties due upon delivery. The Canadian dealers may give you a slight edge in this regard as many of them go through their own brokerage agents.

Currently the HTT-256 wheels are backordered by a minimum of 5-7 weeks so unfortunately there would be a bit of a wait :(

I was told RPI is the sole Canadian distributor and Actunung is not signing up any other Canadian dealers

Thanks guys. Looks like it makes more sense to get them from a local shop. I'll call Independent Tunning, Pfaff and RPI today and see if I can get myself a deal. For tires I am thinking of going with Michelin Pilot Super Sport by the way, heard a lot of positive feedback on them.

Yeah, I've been checking the Hartmann and Achtuning websites and noticed that the 256-MA were back ordered. I remember seeing a shipment of 256 arrive at Achtuning a few months back but looks like they sold out pretty quick lol. Hopefully I'll be able to get them at the beginning of September so I can enjoy them at least a few months before the snow comes.

Any idea where in Toronto I can get Achtuning stickers that I can put on the rear passenger windows?
