Personally I've never heard of a B6 without cruise control and if there is a little shorter arm on left side of the steering wheel below turning signal arm then you have cruise control my friend.

    ultra ....

it does have the arm control there but i doesn't do anything when i press it...

the green cruise light on dashboard doesn't show in dashboard

i tried checking all fuses but nothing seems to be burned out...tested continuity on all of them

any one knows which exactly is the fuse that controls it?

it doesn't say on the fuse holder cover at all

im sure you probably already did this, but just checking.

make sure the arm is pulled towards you to turn cruise on.
once the arm is towards you, the button on the side turns cruise on, pushing the arm (not fully) will turn it off temporarily and pulling it again will engage back at the speed you had it.
obviously pushing up/down will control speed haha

Could possibly be a brake light switch but with that there is usually more problem than just the CC. Mainly loss of power.

Also if you get your hands on a Vagcom this might help http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/audi-...l-problem.html

If you're manual, the clutch pedal switch will also prevent the cruise control from working.

The clutch pedal switch is somewhat easy to replace. Remove the dash under the steering wheel and it should be right in front of you at the top of the clutch pedal. It's a quarter turn to hold it in place, so turn it and unplug it, plug the new one in and put it back in place, then put the dash back on. Hardest thing when I replaced mine was getting the dash off.

It's ~$30 for the part, and most places online I've seen can't beat the cost at the dealer after shipping is added in. The part number you want should be 7H0927189, though the one in your car may be different as it was superseded at some point. I had my clutch pedal switch replaced just after I got my car (about 5 years ago) and the new version is a different size, shape and part number that was put in back then. If you talk to the parts department at a dealership, they can verify the part number before you buy it too.
