    Carbon cleaning in Vegas....

Anyone know of a good place to get it done that has experience doing them? It's probably a long shot since I don't think there are many of us from Vegas on here. I guess I could take it to the dealer but worried they may not do a thorough enough job.

Reach out to Eddie, Cesar and Moe at C.A.R.S. 702-823-2277. They are over on Valley View between Russell and Sunset. Cesar and Moe are former VAG techs from a dealer here in town. They opened their shop a few years ago and are arguably the best indie VAG shop around.

I don't let anyone but them touch my A6 (unless it's a warrantee thing). You cant go wrong.

BTW, there is a regional forum on Audizine for Nevada/Arizona that you should check out.

He did at one time. Selling accessories, not wrenching.

Trogdor, If you don't mind please let us know how much the carbon cleaning is. I'm also in Vegas and would like to avoid the dealership.

Cool thanks for the info. I called C.A.R.S. and they quoted me $600 and around 4-6hrs depending on how severe the deposits are. Are you having them take some before and after pics? If so can you post um up?

Good price. Leo gave me a great military discount on my Miltek DP's and catback so I'm sure he will discount the cleaning as well. I'm also having the JHM intake spacers installed same visit (my cost $150). And yes, I will have him take before & after pics.

Just FYI, Leo doesn't wrench. He will be taking you car over to CARS to have them do the work. He used to operate out of their shop until he moved a few doors down, the the guys at CARS do all his work.

    2QK4U,
Did you notice a big improvement after it was done? My intake spacers should be here tomorrow. Did they install some on yours too? Curious to see if they make much of a difference I'm going to ask for some after pics before they reinstall the manifold. Hopefully that isn't a problem as I want to make sure they are very thorough. I've got 70K on mine now so there is probably a lot of buildup on mine.

If it was the one in Henderson they definitely listed it way too low. Dodge dealership didn't know what they had.

Yeah thats the one I'm talking about.

I was ready to go buy it but it caught too much attention right away. And it should for $10k under market, and that would still be cheap

I just had a carbon cleaning done by my Audi dealership and there is absolutely a noticeable difference. It had been about 15k miles since I last had it done FYI.
