If I'm around I'll try to make it. I've got a lot of travel coming up that will interfere with things I want to do.

I'm open to any weekend, Saturday June 29th? I'm going to pikes peak the 30th anytime during the day, noon is good? Or July 6th-7th anytime? The 6th of July is my birthday so that'd be pretty cool haha we should make a set date soon so it doesn't change all the time.

I think the weekend of the 4th is probably not a good idea seeing that alot of people may be out of town or doing stuff with family that weekend.

Yea that's true, hopefully people can chime in on a date and time that works for them that hopefully all/most can agree on tho.

well I think the 29th could work for me,,, later in the day like 1 is better for me.. and it also depends on where we'd be meeting.

I don't care too much about location but since red rocks worked last year I figure somewhere around Denver is good? or just red rocks again? Anytime the 29th is fine with me.

Red Rocks could work, urban could be cool too. I live downtown though, always nice to get out and breath some fresh air. We should do a cruise/photo day. Is there anywhere to take pictures up Mt. Evans?

The lot at the top of Evans is paved. If you're really, really low, it may be hard to get up there.

So since the 6th and 20th weekends don't work why not just in between the 2 and make it July 13th or 14th? Anytime during the day probably closer to noon? And yes we should do a nice cruise along with it Jace, think you can do any rolling shots as well?

I like the idea of that weekend, but not at noon, worst time to take pics. I'll have my camera along as we'll and more than happy to do rollers!

Just a rebel xti and the kit 18-55mm lens along with a 50mm.

Well then what would be a better time for pictures then? I know nothing about photography haha but I've always wanted rollers of my car so that'd be great if I had some!

If I can borrow Jeff's 18-55mm I could prooobably get a couple of your car, Alex. I just don't have anything wider then 28mm right now and that's no good on a crop sensor. Is your car going to be done by then, Alex?

Meh. I actually kinda miss having it sometimes (mostly just because now 28 is my widest lens) but once I get a 10-20 I won't miss it one bit.

Jace, be careful. Not sure about the 7D, but 1D cannot use the EF-S lenses and the 18-55 is an EF-S. I have a 20-35 EF.

Nope! I'm still waiting on my coated pistons from JE, said 4-5 weeks about 2 weeks ago so now it's just a waiting game but I have the second engine now so I have my car to drive until my built engine is done. I hate waiting! Haha but that's why I want this avant only day to happen sooner than later since it'll be more likely my car will have an engine in it.

I find people are more willing to do early so they can do what they want with the remainder of the day.

And you fools need to come this way; driving down Main Street in Frisco I realized its a rad spot for photos...very Alps-ish.

LOL,, Im just saying, if we plan later in the day,, that gives us time in the mornings to either:

1: Sleep in lol
2: work ( like I'll probably end up having to do )
3: get our cars nice and washed and ready for the photo shoot
4: allow a nice afternoon cruz and some good beers at a nice joint somewhere.
